A Pattern of Misconduct This is not the first—or even the second—time Mr. Kpebu has acted improperly toward OSP security personnel in the discharge of their lawful duties. After each incident, he publicly presents a completely different version of events. Having monitored his conduct for some time, it became clear that unless his interactions were recorded, he would misrepresent the facts. A notable example is his false claim that there were 16 petitions calling for the removal of the Special Prosecutor. When confronted by KSM on his show, he admitted that he merely repeated what he heard someone say on Newsfile, without verifying it. It is concerning that a lawyer would make such a statement without checking the facts.   2. Court Jails 2 Police Officers for Trafficking Narcotics in Police Pick-Up Vehicle.  A Circuit Court in T ema has sentenced two police officers to 13 years in jail for unlawful possession of narcotics and conspiracy to traffic narcotics.   The court presided over by, Her Lordship  Aleanor Kakra Barnes Botchway found Assistant Superintendent of Police Nasiru Amadu   and corporal Emmanuel Mintah guilty after almost 4 years of trial.  Facts of the case:  Prosecutor, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ernest Kuofie said in 2023, a police officer at the Afienya district police made a complaint about the activities of the two police officers .  The accused person, Amadu, 48 years old was the second in command  at Sakumono District Police Headquarters with Mintah. Suspect Owusu Taah aka Angoro  A man believes to be in his 40 years have been stabbed by his friend to death in Berekum East Municipal of the Bono region . The suspect Owusu Taah aka Angoro stabbed his close friend over a debt of Ghc 30.00 own him which the deceased by name Bright has refused to pay back. 25-Year-Old Young Man Electrocuted in Berekum . A suspected thief by the name Oboshie in his 25 years has been electrocuted at Berekum Nyamebekyere in the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono region . According to eye-witnesses, the suspected thief's lifeless body was found on the food vendor metal container as he attempted to steal from the container of the vendor who operates in a metal container. His death attracted a crowd of the Berekum people to the scene on the street of Nyamebekyere as everyone wants to catch a glimpse of the deceased over the incident of frequent robbery attacks and stealing in the Municipality. A 40-Year-Old Man Shots Himself and His 9-Year-Old Daughter to Death. A 40-year-old man Gedeon Kwasi Yeboah has shot himself and his 9-year-old daughter Oliver Yeboah to death a Kato in the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono region. According to the deceased mother she explained that, the wife of the deceased has sperated their marital relationship and has abandoned the man leaving him to cater for his two children which he couldn't withstand the pain has taken his life and that of the his daughter. The body of the two deceased has since been deposited at the morgue of the Holy Family Hospital while police continues with the investigations to ascertain the cause of such a horrible incident. Trucks Loaded With Cooking Oil Impounded by the National Security in Kumasi. The National Security operatives has impounded three (3) articulator trucks fully  loaded with thousands of gallons of cooking oils in Kumasi in the Ashanti region. Upon a tip off that the National security was able to trace the three vehicles and impounded them. The trucks involved are with the registration numbers of Nigerian, T-8082L, Ghana's, AS 3885-09, Burkina BN 8878. The Head of Special Monitoring and Intelligence Team at the National Security, Hajia Rashida Mahama, stated that her team monitored the trucks from Accra to Kumasi for the past 4-days upon a tip off. She said, for the total number 6,688 gallons of the oil, the agent only paid duties for only 4,320, thereby smuggling the rest totalling 2,368 quantities.  EASTERN NORTH POLICE COMMAND  ARRESTS THREE SUSPECTS WITH 85 MAXI BAGS OF SUSPECTED INDIAN HEMP, WEIGHT 3999.1KG  IN THE AFRAM RIVER. The Eastern North Police Command has arrested three suspects for the unlawful possession of  contraband goods at Asuboni Ddumase in the Kwahu South municipality of the Eastern region.  The Eastern North Police Command, through special operation, has arrested three suspects, namely Confidence Amenuveve - 21, Michael Akuwaku- 17, and Abraham Adonu - 22 years for the possession of Indian hemp with total weight of 3999.1kg That's eighty-five maxi bags, one pump action gun, and two outboard motors from the suspects were retreived.  Upon interrogation by police, the suspects claimed to be waiting for a person named Felix who is believed to be their leader.   The suspects are currently in police custody, assisting ongoing investigation.  Source: Alrich24newsgh.blogspot.com

Black Market Money Exchanger Shot Dead at Nkrankwanta. A 33 year-old young man Jafet who operate as a black market money exchanger has been shot dead at Nkrankwanta in the Dormaa West District of the Bono region. Eye witnesses explained that, Jafet who has been operating this business for many years was shot dead by two masked armed men with a motor bike at the Nkrankwanta lorry station bolting away with his money and at the time he was shot, he struggled with the armed men inside his shop to prevent them from stealing his money.  According to the report, he has usually been operating this business especially during the cashew seasons where he do exchange money for cashew buyers from Ivory Coast and Ghana who wants to exchange CFA into Ghana cedis and the vice versa. A vendor at her Mobile Money Shop shot dead at Krofrom. A young lady by name, Patricia in her early thirties identify was shot by armed robbers at Krofrom a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. The information gathered has it that, she was transacting business at her mobile money vendors shop where the tragic incident occured. The incident happened on Thursday February 13, 2025 at 3:00 pm afternoon at the vendors shop located at Krofrom. An eyewitness said, the robbers appeared from behind her shop with a gun and demanded the release of her money which to them she resisted. 20-year-old man confesses to beheading his younger brother in Ejisu Municipality. A 20-year-old man has killed his 8-year-old brother, Messiah Akomeah in a bush near Kwamo in the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti Region. After the gruesome act, Samuel Obeng, returned home to inform his uncle about the murder. He claimed a spirit possessed him to manipulate his brother to follow him to the remote location, where he was killed and tried to dispose of the body. The almost decapitated body of the boy has since been found and deposited at the mortuary. According to reports, the heartbreaking tragedy occurred in a remote area about 45 45-minute walk from the Kwamo Township. Some Members of the Berekum-Abontema Family lament over Unidentified Person Exhuming their Buried Body at Berekum Cemetery. A 28-year-old National Service Personnel, Razak Mariwan who has been assigned to duty at the Ghana Health Services in the Berekum East Municipality of the Bono Region is unconscious over alleged manhandle and beatings by some residents of Kyiribaa in the Berekum East Municipal.
