Do Your Best To Reform Prisoners - Dormaa East Member of Parliament Admonished Prison Officers. The Member of Parliament (MP) for Dormaa East Constituency in the Bono Region,  Honourable Paul Apreku Twum-Barimah has encouraged prison officers to wholeheartedly do their best to reform people who have been incarcerated in their care. He, therefore, expressed worry over the conditions of prisoners put behind bars in Ghana's prison centres. The MP who serves on Parliament Poverty Reduction Strategy Committee made this known after he presented chairs and fans to the Sunyani Central Female Prisons.  He further added an amount of three thousand Ghana cedis (3,000.00) to the inmates to refresh themselves during this Christmas festivities. Chiraa Development Committee Chairman Party With Children of Chiraa. The Chairman of the Chiraa Development Committee, Mr Daniel Akwasi Asante popularly known as Asase Aban has fet with over 1000 children at Chiraa in the Sunyani West Municipal of the Bono Region. Speaking to Mr Asante, this party with the children has been an annual project to feed the children of Chiraa to also feel excited about the Christmas festivities. He said, giving the children a platform to express themselves in the form of parties and music gives them hope that someone cares about them hence his decision to get with the children. Mr Akwasi Asante added that, as a Chairman of the Chiraa Development Committee, he is not only to ensure the only aspect of the town but the little ones who are the future leaders of the country and for that matter Chiraa.  J. H. B. Hope Foundat/ion Commissioned a Mechanised Borehole for Suhum Abisim Dawa Community in the Eastern Region. The J.H.B, Jesus House Boltimore Hope Foundation which is based in Maryland in the USA in collaboration with the International Central Gospel Church (I.C.G.C)  donated the mechanised borehole to the Abisim Dawa, a farming community in the Suhum Municipality. The facility would supply potable water to about 800 inhabitants in the community who will benefit from the project. Mr Samuel Opoku Darko, the Project Coordinator for J.H.B  NGO, during a short ceremony to commission the facility said, the borehole was provided with the help of J.H.B foundation NGO, which is based in Maryland in the USA. The Chief of Watchman, Nana Yeboah Asiamah has declared his readiness to reclaim encroached and stolen lands by unscrupulous people on their land at the Watchman Community. According to Nana Yeboah Asiamah, lands which have been protected for so long by their ancestors have been illegally taken and sold out by unscrupulous individuals without proper process and title documents. He said, the encroachment of their lands has led to a lack of developmental projects at Watchman Community but pledged his willingness to reclaim all stolen lands from the people since he has now been outdoors as a chief but will make sure their lands are taken back to start developmental projects for the benefit of the people in Community. Sunyani NHIS Reaches Membership Target.  Mr Abuu Appiah Alhaji, the Sunyani Municipal Manager of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) has disclosed that the Sunyani Municipal  Health Insurance Scheme has achieved it's target of one hundred seventy-four thousand, six hundred twenty-three (174,623) given to register members into the scheme and have been able to reach the target set for them this year. Mr Abuu Appiah stated that the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) is a social intervention program introduced by the government to provide financial access to quality health care for all residents in Ghana and those who are on a visit to the country.   According to him, the scheme has exempted a category of people from contributing to the NHIS which includes pregnant women, children under 18 years, indigents, persons with mental disposal of orders and persons above seventy years of age (the elderly).  Mr Abuu Appiah cautioned members to report all disorders and unauthorized
