DORMAA EAST DCE HANDED OVER FIVE(5) BEDROOM APARTMENT TO WAMFIE DISTRICT POLICE COMMWND. The Dormaa East District Assembly led by Hon Emmanuel Kofi Agyeman who is the District Chief Executive of Dormaa East together with the Assembly has handed over keys to a five bedroom apartments to Police service of the Wamfie District in the Bono Region. Addressing the gathering, the DCE hailed the police service for their hard work in reducing the crime rate drastically in the district and has vowed to continue to provide amenities that will help them work effectively. OKA SECURITY PERSONNEL AND ODOMASEMAN IN DIASPORA ASSOCIATION LAUNCHED IN SUNYANI WEST MUNICIPAL. A Fun Club made up of Security Personnel from Odomase, Kwatire and Adantia(OKA) in collaboration with citizens abroad has been launched in Odomase, the Sunyani- West Municipal Capital. The program which was launched during the Easter festive season is dubbed 2023 Easter Homecoming. The maiden edition drew people from all walks of life. The Berekum Officers of Ghana National Fire Service have held an indoor fire safety education for the congregation of Pentecostal Word Chapel at Jamdede in the Berekum West District of the Bono Region. The Berekum Divisional Police Commander in the Bono Region, ACP Appiah Richard who also supervises Drobo Police District has urged residents of Drobo in the Jaman South Municipality to embrace the Personnels from the Police Service deployed to Drobo township. Dormaa East District Assembly DCE Presents Ghc10,000.00 Towards Kyenkyenase Police Post Construction. The District Chief Executive for Dormaa East Assembly, Honourable Emmanuel Kofi Agyeman has donated ten thousand Ghana cedis (Ghc10,000) to KyÉ›nkyÉ›nase community in the Dormaa East District of the Bono Region towards the continuation of their self help police post project which has been stalled for many years. Engineer Samuel Kwasi Asare a.k.a Nana Asare who is incharge of the assembly's self help project comfirmed to Dormaa that, the amount recieved can complete the  project to uplift the security situation in the area.  According to information gathered though the area is a small community but two inhabitants has lost their lives out of misunderstanding. Honourable Emmanuel kofi Agyeman in his speech urged the Nananom and the entire community to make good use of the money donated to complete the project and to also prepare proper account of the money after it has been utilized.

As part of her efforts to combat crime and improve security challenges within the Awutu Senya East Constituency of the Central Region, the Member of Parliament for the Area, Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson aka "Obaatanpa", has on 27th October, 2021, donated a 4×4 Toyota pickup and a Motorbike to the Kaso District Police Command. Dr. George Akuffo Dampare sworn in as Substantive IGP. President Nana Akufo-Addo has sworn into office Dr George Akuffo Dampare as the substantive Inspector-General of Police (IGP). This was at a short ceremony at the Jubilee House on Friday, October 8, 2021.   The ceremony was graced by Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, top officials from the Police Service, and other high-profile personalities. COP Dr Dampare was appointed as Acting IGP effective from August 1, 2021, to replace James Oppong-Boanuh who was due for retirement. He will be Ghana’s 23rd IGP, once the necessary validation processes are completed. Owusu Bempah and three others.   Prophet Owusu Bempah and Agradaa.  The Head pastor of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, who is very close to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has been arrested with three of his church members. Two others are said to be on the run during the arrest on Sunday 12 September 2021, a police statement said.  The pastor and the church members, according to the police statement, allegedly attacked police officers at the church premises. The statement said the suspects would be arraigned in court on Monday 13 September. Police Officer Crushed To Death by Reckless Driver in Accident on Wamfie-Dormaa Road. This is the second time a Police Officer has been killed by a reckless driver on Wamfie-Dormaa road in the Dormaa East District of the Bono Region in accident after another police officer was knocked down by a footballer over six months ago. According to the report, the 25 year-old  police officer, Constable Tabiri Frederick, a native of Berekum was killed yesterday Sunday, 12th Sept, 2021 after he wanted to joined the Wamfie-Dormaa main road from a fuel station on his way to his house. The driver who was driving a Kia Rhino knocked the officer down whiles driving on a motorcycle. The Executive Director of  Citizens Watch Ghana, Simon Asore has urged the youth in the border communities within the  Bono Region to assist in fighting child trafficking within the Dormaa and Sampa borders including Berekum and it's environs.  The Executive Director, Simon Asore, made the call during a community forum on Awareness Creation and Sensitization on border Security Management in Berekum in the Bono region.
