Duasidan Monkey Sanctuary in Need of Investors to Promote Tourism. Duasidan Monkey Sanctuary which is over hundred (100) years in the Dormaa Central Municipality of the Bono region is gradually losing it's attractiveness to tourists due to inadequate facilities at the site as is in die need of support. If given the proper and needed attention, there are numerous tourist attractions in the country that have the potential to flourish and promote Ghana internationally. One of such is the Natural Monkey Sanctuary at Duasidan, a town in the Dormaa Central Municipality of the Bono Region. The history, mystery, myth, and uniqueness of the Duasidan monkey sanctuary makes it a distinctive natural resource in the country. Eastern Region: Kofi Adoma calls on Ghanaians to embrace the local tourism.

KOFI ADOMA CALLS ON GHANAIANS TO EMBRACE LOCAL TOURISM.  The Morning Show  Host of Angel TV/Fm's Anopa Bofou, Kofi Adoma Wamwani has advised Ghanaians to support the promotion of the local tourism.  At the station's routine road show program mounted at the Eastern Regional Capital, Koforidua with the morning show crew, Kofi Adoma hosted one of the officers at the Bonsu Eco Park Gardens also known as Arboretum to explore the tourist site. The Arboretum, the name of the Eco gardens is a botanical garden devoted to trees and a place where trees of all kinds are gathered and preserved purposely for relaxation. According to Mr Asare Frimpong, an officer at the Eco Park revealed that, the park was established in 1935 by the Dutch colony who settled the place whiles they were mining and later converted it to Arboretum Eco Park because of it's well endowed natural resources.  Kofi Adoma in his exploration at the park called on Ghanaians to embrace the local tourism as he man...
