Dumasua Nkosouhene Together with Traditional Leaders Luanches Dumasua  Nkosou Fun Club. The Nkosouhene of Dumasua, Nana Ayebiafo Jnana together with Dumasua Chief Nana Kwame Amponssh II and other traditional leaders have on Saturday 6th January, 2024 launched Dumasua Nkosou Fun Club numbering over 300 citizens.  The formation of the fun club which was initiated by the Nkosuohene brought a lot of people to the event including the Member of Parliament in the Sunyani West Constituency, Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Justina Owusu Bannahen aka Awo, the Municipal Police Commander, Supt. Dumasua Nkosuohene, Nana Jnana Ayebeafo Turing Dumasua into a Tourist City through Community Development. The Nkosuohene of Dumasua, Nana Jnana Ayebeafo is gradually turning Dumasua into a Tourist City very soon to become a town to watch in the Sunyani West Municipal of the Bono Region. Through his Community Development, Jnana Ayebeafo, Dumasua has been transformed in its geographical standard where street lights and Christmas lights were fixed to celebrate the festivities. NATIONAL PENSIONS REGULATORY AUTHORITY COLLABORATED WITH THE AHAFO TVET DIRECTORATE TO ORGANISE A DAY SEMINAR FOR INFORMAL ASSOCIATIONS. The National Pensions Regulatory Authority in collaboration with the TVET Directorate in the Ahafo Region has organised a day seminar for workers and associations in the informal sector in the region. Speaking at the seminar, the National Pensions Regulatory Assitant Manager and Head of Corporate Affairs in Sunyani, Mr Samuel Baffour Awuah emphasised the need to be enrolled on a pension scheme as a Ghanaian worker. He said Ghanaian workers can be classified into two categories, those working in the public sector and the private sector. Adding that, those working in the public sector are under the government payroll while those in the private sector work for themselves and in the informal sector. The Dormaa Central Municipal Assembly in the Bono region of Ghana led by Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Drissa Quattara aka Anku at their last General Assembly meeting of the Assembly have honoured one Assembly member of Schaefer or Nkyenkyenkye Electoral area in the Dormaa Municipality in the person of Hon Atta Kofi Awuni aka Atta VRA.  He was awarded a citation that was read and presented to him on the floor of the Assembly before his colleagues. Hon Drissah Quattarah aka (Anku) or (Kwasi Nkrumah Kaakyire) read portions of the encourageable citation before presentation and honour. The committed and hard-working Assembly member, hon. Atta Kofi Awuni Aka Atta ( VRA ) explained how he values the assembly work and promised to continue to serve his people. Lack Of Social Amenities Affecting Development; Chief Of Omenako Cry For Help. The Chief Of Omenako had cried for developmental projects in the community since the lack of social amenities has been affecting their development. SUNYANI STAKEHOLDERS TOGETHER WITH THE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL, HOLD MEETING TO ANALYSE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FOR SUNYANI. Sunyaniman Stakeholders Association together with the Sunyani Traditional Council has met to discuss how to initiate and create sustainable development in Sunyani.  Watch Videos of FixtheCountry Demo that was organised by a group of Ghanaian youth calling themselves freedom fighters among others. The demonstrators started from Abra spot through to the principal streets of Accra to the Black Star Square to present their petition to the authorities about their purpose of calling for the #fixthecountry#. Some of the protesters call for creation of jobs for the unemployed youth and the broken down factories must be fix. They again called on the President Nana Akufo Addo to remember his promised made to Ghanaians especially to deal with corruption and to fix the country.
