Ghana's Outgoing President, Nana Akufo-Addo Approved Free-Visa Entry for All Africans. Ghana's outgoing president, Nana Akufo-Addo, has approved visa-free entry for all Africans seeking to visit Ghana, joining Rwanda, Seychelles, The Gambia, and Benin, who have such a policy.  The free entry will take effect on January 6th, 2025. Some Ghanians are still questioning why now, after President Akufo-Addo has been in power for almost 8 years, with some asking if the decision is a genuine Pan-Africanist gesture or a desperate attempt to repair a tarnished legacy or even perhaps an attempt to sabotage the next government that comes into power on January 7th, 2025. HWPL World Interfaith Prayer Conference 2023: Prayers for End of Wars. Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL), an international peace organization, hosted the HWPL World Interfaith Prayer Conference 2023 on November 18th. The conference, held online, brought together religious leaders and congregation members from various faiths to pray for an end to wars and the promotion of world peace.   Participated by 855 people of 10 different religions from 73 countries, the conference featured an impactful order of events, beginning with an opening by the emcee who expressed the urgency of addressing global conflicts and the organization's heartfelt desire for the cessation of wars. A documentary film about the nternational peacebuilding efforts for Mindanao in the Philippines, one the world's long-term conflicts sparked by violence that left over 120,000 deaths and millions of displaced persons since the 1960s was released and screened in the Philippines. In celebration of the National Peace Consciousness Month, a peace documentary titled “Great Legacy” premiered in a cinema in Davao City on the evening of September 6, 2022. Annual Event to Commemorate Civilian-Led Peacebuilding in Mindanao Calls Forth Collective Action to Develop Peace. On the 24th of January 2022, over 22,000 social representatives from 51 countries attended the international peace conference celebrating the Peace Day held virtually. The event commemorated a civilian-led peace agreement made between the Islam and Catholic communities in Mindanao 8 years ago. Back in 2014, Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL), an international NGO mediated the conflict in Mindanao by proposing a peace agreement by local representatives.
