Wenchi 5-Bedroom House Burnt and Over Ghc 20K and Property Destroyed. A five-bedroom apartment has been razed by fire at Wenchi Akrobi in the Wenchi Municipality of the Bono Region. Items running into several thousands of cedis have been destroyed completely in the fire. Desmond Ngmenasom one of the affected tenants in an interview said properties such as fridges, mattresses, clothes, cooking utensils, furniture along with enormous sums of money were destroyed in the fire. The Wenchi Ghana National Service were able to bring the fire under control and also doing their best to identify the cause of the fire though it is unclear what caused the fire. One People Association of Chiraa Donates to Chiraa Fire Disaster Victims.  The Memebers of One People Association of Chiraa in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region led by the Chief of Chiraa, Nana Mintah Afari II together with the other members of the Association has donated an amount of Ghc2,400, 10 pieces of cloths and 5 bags of cement to some fire outbreak victims at Chiraa.  The victims has suffered a fire outbreak disaster where a house they were living in cought fire at Estate a suburb of Chiraa.  The affected residents numbering over 10 people lost most of their valuables to the fire. Climate Change Crisis and Flooding Caused by the Akosombo Dam Spillage in Ghana.  Climate Change Crises must be a major concern of all as the world gradually increasing in the land space naturally. Most activities we involve ourselves must be a cause for worry if nothing is done about the climate change and the consequences that may arouse out of it. Ghana in just a recent time in the month of October 2023, the Volta River Authority (VRA) initiated a controlled release of water spillage from the Akosombo Dam which supply Electricity to the country. This measure was taken to safeguard the dam from potential overtopping.  The increased water flow in the Volta River has, unfortunately, led to flooding in low-lying areas along its course, impacting communities such as Mepe, Battor, Sogakope Mafi, Adidome, Ada, and others to suffer a sever havoc in the floods for some more days all due to how we don't take important note of the climate change as people.
