Our Roads Are In A Deplorable State – MP Cries Out. The Member of Parliament for Shai- Osudoku Constituency of the Greater Accra Region, Hon. Linda Obenewaa Ocloo has called on the government to come to their aid by fixing their bad roads for them. According to her, the deplorable state of the roads is affecting their daily productivity in the area. We need urgent support by the government to enable the communities to enjoy a better life, she added. "I am calling on our Hon. District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon Fred Offei to come to our aid". Watch Video: Sunyani-Chiraa Road Flooded as Commuters Stranded to Drive Through After a Heavy Rains at Kobede.  There have been several reports of the poor  nature of the  Sunyani to Chiraa road which is giving commuters and vehicle owners a deep cause to worry.  The situation is becoming worse by the day if one considers the volume of vehicular traffic on the road. It is a thing of shame for this major trunk road to deteriorate to this deplorable levels.  This road is important in many respects. MP of Dormaa West Hon. Vincent Oppong Commended by the Dormaa Omanhene for Constructing ICT Lab. The Omanhene of Dormaa Ahenkro Osagyefo Dr Agyeman Badu II has heep praises on the MP of Dormaa West, Hon. Omahene of Dormaa Ahenkro Commends Government for the Construction of Diabaa-Nkrankwanta Road. The Omanhene of Dormaa Ahenkro in the Bono Region, Osagyefo Dr Agyeman Badu who also doubles as the President of Bono Regional House of Chiefs has commended the government for the construction of Diabaa-Nkrankwanta road during his communral labour visit to communities in the Dormaa West District. The Omanhene made this know as part of his routine visit of embarking on communal labour service in some communities for the purpose of upholding cleanliness in the communities like, Diabaa, Nyameama, Brofoyedru, Ahenfiekrom and Nkrankwanta the district capital. Documentary on International Cooperation for Peace in Mindanao Premieres in the Philippines. A documentary film about the nternational peacebuilding efforts for Mindanao in the Philippines, one the world's long-term conflicts sparked by violence that left over 120,000 deaths and millions of displaced persons since the 1960s was released and screened in the Philippines. In celebration of the National Peace Consciousness Month, a peace documentary titled “Great Legacy” premiered in a cinema in Davao City on the evening of September 6, 2022. Around 500 representatives from the government, education sector, media, as well as civic society leaders, religious leaders across the country and peace advocates from Mindanao have attended.
