Stopover World Preparatory and JHS Candidate Seeks God's Intervention in Today's Final Examination. The Proprietor of the Stopover World and JHS in the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono Region, Mr Kyere Korang Prince aka Uncle Prince together with the final year Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) Candidates of the school has sought the face of God ahead of the final examination at the Pentecostal Word Chapel (Kadosh) in Berekum. Dedewa River Death Trap: Residents Cry for Concrete Bridge. Residents of Dedewa and Govinakrom in the Ayensuano District of the Eastern Region are appealing to the government to replace a wooden footbridge over the Dedewa River that has become a death trap with a concrete bridge. Some of them speaking with Alrich24newsgh.com news reporter Apelete Kofi-Michel, the residents explained that they normally have to carry pregnant women in labour, especially in the wooden structure made to cross the river, and also walk miles kilometres to the next town Govinakrom, before they could access to the health care. A 75-Year-Old Missing Woman Displaced and Found in Berekum. An unidentified 75 year-old woman has been displaced in Berekum but cannot trace her way home to Senya Breku where she claims she comes from. According to her she is called Abegail Acquah who doesn't know why she is now in Berekum but said her children brought her from Senya Breku to Berekum. Berekum Residents of Nkrankye Continental Electoral Area Crying Over Degraded Gutter. The residents of the Berekum-Nkrankye Continental Electoral Area in the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono Region are crying over degraded gutters that have turned into a death trap for children and adults in the area. Speaking to some residents, claim the gutter has been abandoned after the Sinohydro contractors who constructing Berekum's inner roads left the main road project which if they could have completed their gutters also would have been completed. They claimed school children, workers and old people cannot cross the degraded gutter from one end to the other. Speaking Sister Abenaa who resides close to the gutter said, she even got injured when bypassing the gutter as well as Mr Emmanuel Asante expressed their worry over how their gutter has been abandoned for years.
