KORASO OUTDOORS NANA ADWOA ADU-TWUMWAA AS QUEEN MOTHER

BEREKUM KORASO OUTDOORS NEW QUEEN MOTHER The chiefs and people of Koraso in the Berekum West District of the Brong Ahafo Region has outdoored a new queen mother, Nana Adwoa Adu-Twumwaa as the Korasohemaa. The ceremony attracted a host of dignitaries including the Queen Mother of Berekum Traditional Area, Professor Obeng Ofori of Catholic University, Assembly Members, Berekumman Citizens Association members and the people of Koraso. Nana Adwoa Adu-Twumwaa addressing the people of Koraso called for peace, unity and love to prevail among the people in the town. She added that they should all support her to achieve the best for the people of Koraso. Nana Adwoa Twumwaa advised the youth to desist from taking in illicit drugs like tramadol, Indian hemp (wee), and other drugs that can destroy their future. She said education is one of her goals and urged the youth to take their education seriously. She advised the parents to  also encourage their children to take up their studie

ICGC BEREKUM BRANCH DONATES TO HOLY FAMILY HOSPITAL

INTERNATIONAL CENTRAL GOSPEL CHURCH (ICGC) DONATES TO HOLY FAMILY HOSPITAL, BEREKUM The Berekum Branch of the International Central Gospel  Church (ICGC) has donated an assorted items worth about Ghc2000.00 to the Maternity Ward of the Berekum Holy Family Hospital. The items which includes toiletries,drinks, soaps, pampers, detergents, and others were received by the ward In-charge Mrs Augustina Mensah. The head pastor, Pastor Julius Ansah in his speech said it is in the plans of the church to support the hospital as the year comes to an end. He said they have prayed for the facility but the prayers alone is not enough but physically they have to extend their hands to the hospital. He said that, the church has considered to adopt the hospital's maternity ward to help support the ward in order to reduce maternal death at the hospital. Berekum East MP Dr. Twum Nuamah Donated an Incubator to the hospital BEREKUM HOLY FAMILY HOSPITAL RECEIVES TWO INCUBATORS AS THEY CELEBRATES 70TH ANNIVERSARY The Holy Family Hospital in the Berekum Municipality of the Brong Ahafo Region at their 70th Anniversary celebration on 18th December, 2018 was fortunate to be presented with two incubators. The hospital which was only managing with one incubator to handle pre-term babies have been providential to receive two incubators from well endowed people of Berekum. The MP of Berekum East Constituency, Dr. Kwabena Twum Nuamah as part of his 40th birthday and wife presented one incubator to the hospital and said God through the hospital saved his life when he was a child. According to him, being a Medical Doctor himself knows how the incubator will save lives especially the vulnerable babies. He explained that he turned the age of 40 this year and planned with his wife to donate the incubator to the hospital at the cost of Ghc15000.0

          Managemt Team of The Hospital HOLY FAMILY HOSPITAL IN BEREKUM IS 70 YEARS OLD The Berekum Holy Family Hospital in the Berekum East Municipal of the Brong Ahafo Region is now 70 years old. The Administrator of the Hospital, Sister Reena V. John has described how  the hospital started in 24th April, 1948 in a very humble beginning and has chalked a great success of becoming a Secondary Health Facility to the status of a Regional Hospital which will be unveiled during  the 70th anniversary celebration on the 18th of December, 2018. She said with the support from donor organizations and individuals, the Hospital is striding in Health Services within it's catchment area in the Brong Ahafo Region. BEREKUM WEST DCE EVACUATES 100 YEARS OLD JAMDEDE REFUSE DUMP The District Chief Exercutive (DCE) of Berekum West District of the Brong Ahafo Region, Hon. Isaac Osei has today 3rd December, 2018 cut the sod for the evacuation of the Berekum Jamdede over eighty years old refuse dump which has affected the people for a long time. Speaking to Accra FM reporter Opamago Paparichy, the residents expressed their joy about the evacuation of the refuse dump and thanked the DCE for fulfilling one of his promises made to the people of Jamdede. GERMAN BASED BEREKUM NATIVE DONATES TO HOLY FAMILY HOSPITAL. A German based native of Berekum, Mr Kwabena Boakye Owusu as part of his family and partners tradition annually by their accustomed standards has donated hospital items worth of about Ghc50.000.00 to the Berekum Holy Family Hospital.
