 Dormaa West District Court and Judge's Residence Commissioned. His Lordship, Justice Gabriel Nene Kwao Mate-Teye, Justice of the Sunyani High Court and a Supervising Court Judge for Bono, Bono East and the Ahafo Regions respectively, on behalf of the Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana, Her Ladyship Gertrude Araaba  Essaaba Sackey, has commissioned the Nkrankwanta District Court and the Judge’s residence at Nkrankwanta, the capital of Dormaa West in the Bono Region.  Dignitaries who graced the occasion included: Bafour Agyei Akyea Akumbi II, Chief of Nkrankwanta, Judges  and registrars from the various courts within the Bono Region, Heads of Department, Assembly Members and representatives from political parties.  In giving his welcome address, the District Chief Executive for Dormaa West, Hon. Oppong Kwadwo Francis attributed the genesis of the project which was solely financed by the Assembly’s Common Fund to his predecessor, Hon. Mary Yaa Ameyaa who formulated the vision and

Emmanuel Kofi Agyeman has addressed the students, teachers, and staff of Wamanafo Senior High Technical on the occasion of their SRC celebration. He commended the students for their hard work and dedication, which had led to impressive academic achievements and a strong sense of building their local community development. The SRC President of Wamanafo Senior High Technical, Master Akurugu Gordon on his part took the stage to express his gratitude to the District Chief Executive for his support and encouragement. However, he also seized the opportunity to highlight some pressing issues facing the school. "We are in dire need of additional facilities for both boys and girls," he emphasized. President Akufo Addo and Bawumia Mourns with Busia's Family at Wenchi. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and Vice President Dr. Alhaji Mahamud Bawumia on Saturday joined mourners at the final funeral rites of Obapanin Ama Serwaa Bame Busia at Wenchi in the Bono Region. Vice President Bawumia arrived at the funeral grounds with his wife, Samira Bawumia. Other notable members of the NPP were the Chief of Staff  Abena Frema Osei Opare, the Attorney General, Godfred Yeboah Dameh, Deputy Attorney General Gofred Tua Yeboah, National Chairman of NPP, Mr. Stephen Ayensu, The Bono Regional Chairman of NPP, Kwame Baffoe Abronye DC, Former General Secretary, Kwabena Agyei Agyapong, Professor Christopher Ameyaw Akumfi, Professor, George Gyan Baffour and other bigwigs of the ruling party.
