Wenchi Traditional Council, 19 Chiefs Swear an Oath of Allegiance to Wenchi Manhene. Some 19 Chiefs at the Wenchi Traditional Area in the Bono Region have sworn a oath of allegiance to the Omanhene of Wenchi, Ampem Osagyefo Anye Amoampong Tabrako III. The event took place at the Ahenfie Yefiri Royal Palace at Wenchi on Thursday March 21,2024. The traditional council also inducted 35 gazetted Chiefs and Queen Mothers into the Wenchi Traditional Council. They were sworn in by Her ladyship Mariama Saleh Sinary, the Wenchi High Court Judge after taking the oath of membership and secrecy. Her Ladyship, Mariama Saleh Sinary urged the Chiefs and Queen Mothers to respect the laws of Ghana and also desist from interfering with due processes of the law when it comes to cases involving themselves or their families. I Pledged to Work Hard to Bring Development- New Gyaasehene of Akyem Tafo.  Accra Ebony Beach Resort General Manager has been enstooled as the new Gyaasehene of Akyem Tafo under the stool name Baffour Asare Boateng. Mr. Asare Baffour, swore the oath of allegiance to Daasebre Adusei Peaseh lV, the Chief of Akyem Tafo and his elders. Introducing the new Gyaasehene to the Akyem Tafo community at a Durbar, Daasebre Adusei Peaseh lV congratulated Baffour Asare Boateng for succeeding the late Owusu Afriye  Gyaasehene who died in 10 years ago. He was charged to take up the position given him to ensure the development of the community by partnering with the other sub-chiefs to deliver on his mandate. The sub-chiefs of Daasebre took turns to advise the new Gyaasehene on what was expected of him as the occupant of the Gyaase stool. Debibi Traditional Authorities Enstool Obrempong Boamako Gago II as Omanhene of Debibi. The traditional authorities of the Debibi Traditional area in the Tain District of the Bono region have enstooled Obrempong Boamako Gago II as the Omanhene of the Debibi traditional area on 2nd March, 2024. Nana Boamako Gago II in his private life was a Senior lecturer at the University of Ghana and was known as Dr Abraham Okrah and also an elder of the Church of Pentecost.  In his acceptance speech thanked all those who supported his corenation ceremony to make him the paramount chief of the area. He thanked the elders and people of Debibi for all their support to make the occasion a success. He called for the progress and unity of the people to support his reign to achieve the purpose of the community. TRADITIONAL RULERS CALL FOR ACTIVE GOVERNMENT INVOLVEMENT IN DECISION-MAKING. The Akuapem Adontenhene, Tufuhene, and Nana Aniapam Kwaku II are urging the government to actively include traditional leaders in important decision-making processes. BUILSA COMMUNITY IN BEREKUM ENSKIN NEW CHIEF.  Following the demise of the Late Builsa Chief, Smart Ayomah in 2022, the Builsa in the Berekum Community has since elected a new Chief by the name of Nab Philip Asaalimba.  The elections were supervised by a representative of the Zongo Chief and at the end of the day, Apostle Philip Asaalimba was declared a winner over his competitor Mr. Joseph Adaawan. The Builsas in Berekum, have long been expecting a unifier and they sought to find that either in Mr. Joseph Adaawan or Apostle Philip Asaalimba.  The elections came to an end with Apostle Philip Asaalimba pulling a total of 196 votes while his competitor pulled 67 votes which represented the voice of the electorates and the Builsa people in the comments. The victory of Apostle Philip Asaalimba was a victory for all Builsas. Speaker of Parliament Enstooled Adasuoko Hene I at Suma Ahenkro. The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Kingsford Sumani Bagbin has been named Nana Adasuokohene I in the Suma Traditional Council of the Bono Region of Ghana. The Chief of Suma Traditional Area in the Jaman North District, Odeneho Dr Afram Brempong III has enstooled Ghana's Speaker of Parliament as Adasuokor Hene I at Suma. Odeneho Dr Afram Brempong disclosed that Speaker Bagbin deserved to be part of the Traditional Council because he is a brave man who is supporting the legislation against the LGBTQ+ bill in Ghana and such a brave and bold personality deserves a commendation,, therefore he planned to honour him with a traditional title and because Speaker is also a resident of the Suma Traditional area which he believes his new role will promote the town to help bring transformation to Suma Traditional Area to enable the image of the town to be lifted.                            Speaker of Parliament, Rt.
