Atimatim, God's Coming Kingdom NGO Donates Wheelchair, School Uniforms, School bags, Teacups, and Ghc1000.00 to Disabled Boys. God's Coming Kingdom, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Ghana has donated one (1) wheelchair, school Uniforms, school bag, tea cup, and Ghc1000.00 cedis to a 10-year-old disabled boy in the Upper West Akim District of the Eastern Region. The 10-year-old boy named Joel Nhyira Effum is a student of Atimatim D/A Basic School in the Upper West Akim District and is usually backed to school and back by his colleagues because his legs and arms can not support his body to move. According to Huseini Abdul-Razak, the headteacher of Atimatim D/A Basic School, Madam Rebecca Kaaley, the Chairperson of God's Coming Kingdom NGO got her informed about the situation of the boy and appealed to her to help Joel Nyhira Effum. CONCERN CITIZENS OF WAMFIE RAISE RED FLAGS ON AUTHORITIES FOR SELLING PUBLIC LANDS MEANT FOR DEVELOPMENT TO INDIVIDUALS. The Concern Citizens of Wamfie together with Wamfie Elites for Development led by Mr Charles Kumi Yeboah have raised a red flag on the Traditional Authorities and the government appointees for selling the town's public lands meant for development purposes to individuals. THINKAID FOUNDATION DONATES STORY BOOKS TO ST. BIKHITA SCHOOL COMPLEX ON BEHALF OF MR. WILLIAMS KWABENA HARRISON JR. Thinkaid Foundation, a Non-Profit Organisation based in Ghana has donated several storybooks to St. Bakhita School Complex at Domfeteh in the Berekum West District of Ghana. The donor of the story books, Mr Williams Kwabena Harrison Jnr, who lives in London -UK, presented the story books to Thinkaid Foundation to be donated on his behalf to help children know much about God since the title of the storybook is "God's Unblinkable Eyes". GIFEC ENDS TWO WEEKS OF ICT SKILLS TRAINING IN COLLABORATION WITH JAMAN SOUTH MCE.  Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) has completed an ICT skills training for selected people with the Digital Transformation Centres (DTC) Project. Berekumman Celebrates One Week Observation of the Late Mr. Ernest Kwame Apraku the CEO of ABTS.

A TRIBUTE TO A TRUE SON OF BEREKUM, MR ERNEST KWAME APRAKU. It is with a saddened heart that I pay tribute to this great son of Berekum. I may not have been one of those who were very close to Mr APRAKU, director as he was affectionately called but at least I have seen his exploits and can not be ignorant of his deeds.  He was a hero, a very courageous person, who set up an industry at a very young age from very humble beginnings, Asuo Bomosadu Timbers and Sawmills, which has stood the test of time for over four decades and somehow has been the mainstay of Berekum economy. Many are the citizens of Berekum have benefitted directly or indirectly from this industry because of the vision of this great man.
