Come to Our Aid to Enhance Bechem Government Hospital Progress-Medical Superintendent Tells. The Medical Superintendent for Bechem Government Hospital in the Tano South Municipal of Ahafo Region, Dr. Agyei Darko has appealed to individuals, stakeholders, NGOs, government and opinion leaders to try as much they can to come to their aid to help supply the necessary equipment the hospital may need. According to him, the hospital is facing a lot of difficulties in terms of infrastructure and other equipment to enhance better health issues in the Municipality since government alone can not build the development of the nation. He revealed this during the commissioning of a Maternity Theatre which was built by the Becheman Association in Canada over the weekend to support the developmental status in Bechem. The Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipal Directorate of the National Commission for Civic Education has Sensitized the Ghanaian citizenry in Nsawam and its environs to uphold democratic governance as a major priority in our constitutional journey. We Need the World to Support the Adoption of a Legally Binding Treaty on Plastic Pollution - Country Manager, GAYO.  The Country Manager for the Green Africa Youth Organisation, GAYO - Uganda, Betty Osei-Bonsu has reiterated calls for a  Global Plastics Treaty that would have strong provisions that hold polluting corporations and plastic-producing countries accountable for the profound damage caused by their excessive production of plastic. This, she believes, would ensure a just transition to safer and more sustainable livelihoods for workers and communities across the plastics supply chain.
