EASTERN NORTH POLICE COMMAND ARRESTS THREE SUSPECTS WITH 85 MAXI BAGS OF SUSPECTED INDIAN HEMP, WEIGHT 3999.1KG IN THE AFRAM RIVER.
The Eastern North Police Command has arrested three suspects for the unlawful possession of contraband goods at Asuboni Ddumase in the Kwahu South municipality of the Eastern region.
The Eastern North Police Command, through special operation, has arrested three suspects, namely Confidence Amenuveve - 21, Michael Akuwaku- 17, and Abraham Adonu - 22 years for the possession of Indian hemp with total weight of 3999.1kg
That's eighty-five maxi bags, one pump action gun, and two outboard motors from the suspects were retreived.
Upon interrogation by police, the suspects claimed to be waiting for a person named Felix who is believed to be their leader.
The suspects are currently in police custody, assisting ongoing investigation.
