CHIRAA HEALTH CENTRE GETS BUNGALOW. A well furnished self contained doctors' bungalow has been donated to the Chiraa Health Centre in the Sunyani West Municipalilty of the Bono Region.  The building which cost Ghc325,000.00 was constructed by Mr. Daniel Kwasi Asante aka Asaase Aban took the occasion to celebrat his birthday anniversary on Wednesday, 28th April, 2021 to present the keys of the house to the authorities of the centre.  The birthday celebration and donation together attracted a well meaning citizens of Chiraa Adasuakour to the occasion. Present at the event was the Chief and Queen mother of Chiraa; Berima Minta Afari and Nana Yeboah Penni as well as sub-chiefs, the clergy, Sunyani West Municipal officials, staff of the Health centre and people of Chiraa. The birthday celebrant - Asaase Aban, his wife and the family thanked God for His protection upon the family and expressed joy as they handed over the keys to the bungalow to Chiraahene to also in turn handed it to the

WEDDI AFRICA LIMITED PRODUCES IT'S FIRST BATCH OF TOMATOES MIX PASTE. Weddi Africa Limited a Tomato Processing Factory under the One District One Factory initiative has their first batch of product on the market with the trade name Sweet Mama Tomato Mix.  In an interview with some natives of Domfete, the town where the factory is located and its environs, they expressed a sense of excitement on the successful production. According to them the establishment of the factory will boost their farm production, have an impact on the economic status of the town by creating employment for the youth. The factory located at Domfete in the Berekum West District started about three years ago and later enrolled on the 1D1F program.  The Berekum West District is known for large production of tomatoes in Ghana and the establishment of the factory is to raise production.  Residents of both Berekum East and West are committed to patronizing Sweet Mama Tomato Mix to sustain the factory's progress

CHIRAA DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN TO DONATE BUNGALOW ON HIS BIRTHDAY.  The Chairman of Chiraa Development Committee in the Sunyani West Municipal of the Bono Region, Mr. Daniel Kwasi Asante a.k.a Asaase Aban, will on Wednesday 28th April, 2021 in the year of our Lord handover a well furnished doctor's bungalow facility to the Chiraa Health Center to celebrate his birthday. Asaase Aban who happens to celebrate his birthday anniversary on the same day will donate the building to the Hospital as his quota to support the development agenda to uplift the standard of the Hospital. GHANAIAN CONSTRUCTS 2KM ASPHALT ROAD FOR HIS COMMUNITY. A Philanthropist and native of Dormaa Ahenkro in the Bono Region, Mr. Atta Frimpong has constructed a two(2) kilometer asphalt road at Lashiebi a suburb of Accra near Emef Estate.  The road which was in a deplorable state connects Lashiebi to North Celebrity Hill. Mr. Atta Frimpong explained that, it was out of love for his country that made him exhibit this high sense of patriotism to support his people.  The Managing Director of Ronor Motors advised Ghanaians to take up the responsibility challenge and support in the nation building. PHILANTHROPIST SUPPORTS CHIRAA HEALTH CENTRE. A native of Chiraa Adasuokor living in Germany, Mr. Padmond Danso has today Tuesday 20th April, 2021 donated Hospital equipment to the Chiraa Health Centre in the Sunyani West Municipal of the Bono Region.  The Chief and Queen mother of Chiraa; Barimah Minta Afari II and Nana Yeboah Pene II respectively were thankful to Mr. Padmond Danso and his team for the timely intervention to assist the facility which is need of the equipment.  Barima Minta Afari II charged the facility to make good use of the equipment.  He again appealed to other organizations, individuals and agencies to come to the aid of the health centre as they plan on purchasing incubator and other equipments to boost the standard of the facility. OMANHENE OF BEREKUM BANS CHIEFS FROM CATTLE OFFLOADING CONTRACT IN BEREKUM TRADITIONAL AREA AS FARMERS ARE HAPPY. The Omanhene of Berekum Traditional Area in the Berekum East Municipality of the Bono Region, Daasebre Dr. Amankona Diawuo II has cautioned his sub-chiefs on involvement in contracting Fulani herdsmen to offload cattle in Berekum forests. The Omanhene held a stakeholders meeting with representatives from Forestry Commission, Ghana Police Service, Form Ghana, Butchers Association and Chief Executives of both Berekum East and West Assembly to deliberate on how the rearing of cattle in the Kotaa and Oforikrom forests can be curbed.    Daasebre disclosed that forests in Berekum especially Kotaa Forest (Tain 2), Oforikrom, Abesaasi amongst others are being destroyed by the activities of the fulani herdsmen in the area hence, his plan to put a stop to it beginning with a stakeholders meeting. PRIVATE SCHOOLS URGED TO EXPAND INFRASTRUCTURE TO MEET COVID-19 STANDARDS. The Owner and Proprietor of Lincoln Preparatory and JHS at Adom New Town in the Berekum West District of the Bono Region has urged private school owners to upgrade infrastructure in their schools amidst of Covid-19.  Mr. K. O. Kyeremeh made this statement after completing a 6-unit classroom block to enhance Covid-19 protocols to raise the standard of education in the district.   According to him, it is about time management of schools practise social distancing in the classrooms and adhere to all the covid 19 protocols. In doing this will help to protect the school children from contracting the virus in schools.  Mr. Kyeremeh added that his school has put in place e-learning and virtual classrooms block for the children to equip their studies amidst Covid-19. BEREKUM AREA CHURCH OF PENTECOST WOMEN'S MINISTRY DONATES TO CHILDREN'S HOME. The Berekum Area Church of Pentecost Women's Ministry has on 5th April, 2021- Easter Monday donated some asorted items to the World of Friends Children's Home in the Berekum West District. The Area head, Apostle Samuel Berko together with his Wife Mama Joyce Berko and the women's Ministry led the delegation to the children's home. Items donated include milo, toiletries, drinks, rice, and other consumables with an undisclosed amount of money. Speaking to the press, the Area Women's Ministry Leader, Mama Josephine explained that it is the command of God to every believer to share what ever they have with the less privileged hence their move is a respond to the call of God to support the children.
