Berekum has been deprived after voting for NPP for 20 years according to NDC candidate.

BEREKUM HAS NOT BENEFITED FROM VOTING FOR NPP IN 20 YEARS The Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Berekum East Constituency of the Bono Region, Elder Simon Ampaabeng Kyeremeh has declared that Berekum will only develop under NDC administration. ASSEMBLY MAN TO APPRECIATE NANA AKUFO ADDO WITH MASSIVE CAMPAIGN FOR GIVING HIS PEOPLE HOSPITAL. The Assembly Member of Jinijini Suntreaso Electoral Area in the Berekum West District of the Bono Region, Hon. Oppong Tai Samuel has commended President Nana Akufo Addo and the Minister of Health, Hon. Kwaku Agyemang Manu for selecting Jinijini as a beneficiary of the 88 District Hospitals proposed to be constructed across the country. BONO REGIONAL NPP 2ND VICE CHAIRPERSON DONATES TO THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY The 2nd Vice Chairperson of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bono Region - Madam Doris Asoma has presented an Covid-19 preventive items to the Muslim community in Senase in the Berekum East Municipality. Speaking to the media during the donations she said, measures are in place in fighting the pandemic. All protocols must be adhered to especially after the President eased restrictions to open churches and mosques. The donation is to support Muslims follow all the protocols. She urged them to observe protocols in fighting the virus especially social distancing, use of nose marks, application of hand sanitizers, washing of hands with soap under running water and others to reduce spread of the virus. BEREKUM EAST MP DONATES 2 CTG SCAN MACHINE TO HOLY FAMILY HOSPITAL. The authorities of Berekum Holy Family Hospital headed by Rev. Sister V. John has received a brand new 2 CTG scan machine, a donation from the MP of Berekum East Constituency, Dr. Kwabena Twum-Nuamah.  The 2 Cardiochatography machine that cost amount of $5000 US dollars will help save life at the hospital maternity ward which has been appreciated by hospital authorities. Dr. Kwabena Twum-Nuamah made the presentation after the hospital made an appeal for his support to acquire such a machine. He said this will not be the last time he will keep on supporting the facility as he has done before. Ayimom in the Berekum West thirsty for water as comnunity members cry.

AYIMOM IS IN SHORT AND THIRST FOR WATER IN BEREKUM. Ayimom is a farming community in the Berekum West District of the Bono Region facing scarcity of water amid covid-19. The town which had 7 water pipes is now left with only 2 working. According to a Unit committee member, Mr. Theophelous Ofori Amankona, the 2 pipes left are also not working properly in addition to another the DCE, Hon. Isaac Osei mechanized for them. The community has been dependent on the two since January 2020. They described the situation as worrying. Although the situation has been reported to the DCE, they are yet to see improvement.  The town is in need of water as the situation has become unbearable for the people. The people of Ayimom reiterated their appeal to Hon. Isaac Osei (DCE) and Hon. Kwaku Agyenim Boateng (MP) as a matter of urgency to come to their aid to fix the pipes. They explained their difficulty in accessing water for their daily activities especially in the fight against Covid 19

Thieves breaks into Berekum-Koraso Methodist Church Ghana amidst Covid 19 restrictions.

BEREKUM - THIEVES BREAKS INTO A CHURCH The Methodist Chuch Ghana in Berekum-Koraso in the Berekum West District of the Bono Region woke up to see their church empty without any instruments. Mr. Dartey Stephen, the Caretaker of the church explained that they got to know of the situation last week Friday. Musical instruments kept in the church building has been stolen amist this Covid-19 restrictions. According to him the thieves broke through the windows of the church and took along some instruments speakers, mixers and some other items that wealth about Ghc3,000.00. He said that, they have reported the case to the Police service in Berekum and an arrest is yet to be effected.
