38 YEAR OLD GOLD DEALER SHOT DEAD AT WASSA AKROPONG.  A 38 year old gold dealer, Paa Kwasi has been shot dead in his own private car at the Wassa Akropong in the Amenfi East Municipality of the Western Region.  According to eyewitness reports, the deceased was suspected to have been killed by contract killers numbering about 6 with masked faces fleeing after the gun shot in his car.  Other people also gave different report about the decease saying,  "he just got into his car and started the engine in front of his house and was about to move which the assailant with AK 47 shot him through the car but took nothing from the decease in the car. The Police Commander for the area, DSP Simon Setoglo was called in to the scene together with the deceased wife to unlocked the doors of his brand new unlicensed Toyota tundra which they found some of the raw gold in his car and hand over to the family.  The police in the area has begun investigation into the case and are man hunting for the pe

A teacher incharge of Presby School in Kade Municipality of the Eastern Region, Sir Robert, has expressed worry about the alarming rate of teenage pregnancy record in the Municipality. Cases of teenage pregnancies have skyrocketed in the Tweapease within last year in the school form one alone were 10 students who got pregnant. Sir Robert speaking with the media said communities like Abomoso, Sekubenase, Nkruakan, Bomso have recorded over 60% cases of teenage pregnancies which is affecting the girls future career. The report has it that out of 60% of these teenage mothers their ages were between 13 and 14 years old without any measures to bring the number down whilst it is continuing to rise year after year, he said. Ayensuano Residents Alleges "Our Former MP Ayeh Paye Used His Common Fund On Girls Without Constructing Any Single Road In Our Area". The residents of Ayensuano District of the Eeatern Region have expressed their displeasure over the poor state of their roads in the area linking them to other communities. According to them several road accidents involving motorists and pedestrians have been recorded in the area due to the bad nature of the roads as drivers find it difficult to ply on that route.
