Road Minister’s Tour Bono Region to Cut Sod for the Construction of Berekum-Sampa Road. A 119 kilometers Brekum-Sampa Road to start in earnest as minister of roads Hon. Asenso Boakye breaks ground for commencement of work at Jinijini the Berekum West District capital of the Bono region. In a short ceremony held at Jinjini, the Minister introduced the construction firm RANGO Construction Ltd. to the traditional authorities and the people of the area for the beginning of the project. This road is to be rehabilitated at an estimated cost of GHC125 million into an asphaltic overlay under the following scope of work • SCARIFICATION OF EXISTING FAILED BITUMINOUS SURFACE • RECONSTRUCTION OF SOME SECTIONS • CONSTRUCTION OF U-DRAINS • PATCHING OF POTHOLES • LAYING OF BASE COURSE • ASPHALTIC OVERLAY, which will start from Sunyani-Dumasua-Nsoatre-Berekum-Jinijini-Fetentaa-Botokrom-Babianiha-Jepekrom-Drobo-Dwenem-Mpuasu-Adamusu-Asare-Seketia-Amanfoso-Morle-Suma Ahenkro.and Sampa.
