THE CHIEFS, YOUTH AND PEOPLE OF CHIRAA EMBARKS ON CLEAN UP EXERCISE TODAY 30TH DEC, 2021 TO WELCOME DORMAAHENE. The Chiefs, Youth and People of Chiraa in the Sunyani West Municipal of the Bono Region has today Thursday 30th December, 2021 embarked upon a clean up exercise to prepare ahead of the annual visit by the Omanhene of Dormaa Traditional Area, Osagyefo Oseadieyo Dr. Agyeman Badu II.  The traditional homage has been necessitated because Chiraa is the Benkum Division of the Dormaa Traditional Council hence the need of the overlord to pay homage to it's citizens and royals as the year draw to a close. Mr. Asante Preprah of Germany Donates to Chiraa Health Centre.

MR. ASANTE PREPRAH DONATES TO CHIRAA HEALTH CENTER.  A native of Chiraa Mr. Asante Preprah who lives in Germany has donated wheelchairs and hand gloves to the Chiraa Health Center in the Sunyani West Municipal of the Bono Region in Ghana.  Presenting the items on behalf of Mr. Asante Preprah, the Chief of Chiraa Barimah Mintah Afari II, commanded him for his timely intervention to supply to the health center to help uplift it's standard in health care delivery.  Barimah Mintah Afari II again took the opportunity to appeal for more support from all and sundry, both home and abroad to come to the aid of the health center to enable it's processes of upgrade to a polyclinic status.  The assiatant administrator in charge of the health center Dr. Obour who received the items thanked Mr. Prepeah and pledged to make good use of the items received for the benefit of the people.  He therefore called on other citizens of Chiraa to emulate the good example of Mr. Asante Preprah to seek for

LADY ANNA FOUNDATION (LAF) DONATES TO NANA AKOSUA NSUAA ABABIO PEDIATRIC CENTER IN DORMAA AHENKRO. The C.E.O of Lady Anna Foundation, Mrs. Anna Agyemang Badu, the wife of Osagyefo Oseadeye Dr. Agyemang Badu II together with her foundation has donated some items to the pediatric center at the Dormaa Ahenkro Presbyterian Hospital in the Bono Region. MTN GHANA BLISS OUT MOTHER'S WHO DELIVERED NEW BORN BABIES ON CHRISTMAS DAY WITH HAMPERS.  MTN Ghana as part of its effort to support mother's in the country has presented 45 hampers to babies born on Christmas Day at three hospitals in the Bono and Ahafo Regions. In addition, each of the hospitals, Hwediem St. Elizabeth Hospital in the Asutifi South District of Ahafo Region, Kwatire Government Hospital in the Sunyani West and Sunyani Regional Hospital received 1,000 credit air time. Mr. Kweku Kwateng, the MTN team leader of Bono and Ahafo Regions in an interview said the campany has distributed 500 hampers worth Ghc150,000 nationwide. He said the presentation forms part of their cooperate social responsibility to the society and doing this is to show love not only to their  customers but also to put smiles on the faces of the mothers who delivered their babies on Christmas day. MP of Berekum East Constituency Escaped Unhurt in an Accident.  The MP of Berekum East Constituency in the Bono Region, Hon. Nelson Kwaku Kyeremeh has escaped unhurt in an accident on Christmas eve Saturday 26th December, 2021 on the Sunyani-Berekum highway.  The incident occured at Nsoatre in the Sunyani West Municipalilty but by the mercies of God the MP and those on board escaped unhurt and are in good condition but are recieving treatment at the Sunyani Regional Hospital.                  Watch video of the MP's vehicle  The MP's vehicle was accidentally crashed with a Pragyia rider which crossed him together with another vehicle at the section of Nsoatre town which resulted in the accident leading to the death of one person. Bechem Youth Associations Helds Clean-Up Exercise with Free Health Screening. Bechem Youth Association together with Bechem Town Development Committee and Bechem Zonal Council has held s clean-up exercise and free health screening at Bechem in the Tano South Municipal of Ahafo region to improve sanitation and health situation amongst the people of Bechem ahead of this year's Christmas celebrations. Gov't Begins Construction of 12 TVET Institutes.

Gov't has Commenced Construction 12 Technical and Vocational Educational Training TVET Institutes - Dr. Gedion Boako. The Economic advisor and spokesperson to Vice President Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, Dr Gideon Boako has said that the government has commenced the construction of 12 Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) institutions across the country. Dr Boako made the disclosure at the second graduation ceremony of the Global Institute of Mines and Safety (GIMS), and the first graduation of Polaris Academy on Friday at Afirisipa in the Ahafo region. It was held on the theme, the future we want : the role of the mining companies and their host communities, our duty today with a call on the graduates to focus on self employment.
