Akim Abuakwa Apedwahene Ask to Retract and Render an Unqualified Apology to COP Rtd Kwasi Nkansah for ill Statement Made. The Retired Commissioner of Ghana Police and Chief Executive Officer of Mother Love Hospital, Mr. Kwasi Nkansah has asked Apedwahene in the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Council of the Eastern Region, Osabarima Frimpong Manso to retract a statement he made against him and also to render an unqualified apology to him. He however gave Osabarima Frimpong Manso the Apedwahene of the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Council,10 days ultimatum to come out publicly to apologized to him before Ghanaians and entire Akyem Abuakwa Traditional area of his disgrace statement made against him, otherwise has threatened to take legal action against the chief. Govinakrom Residents Laments Over Deplorable State of their Road Network. Farmers of Govinakrom in the Ayensuano District of the Eastern Region, have pleaded with the government to help construct their road linking communities in the area to Teacher Mante to enable them transport their foodstuffs to the market centres. The over 4km deplorable nature of the road makes it difficult for the farmers in the various communities such as Govinakrom, Domeabra, Amponsahene, Abodzi, Afatsawo, Dedewa Abrodiem and other neighboring communities to transport their farm produce by car to market centers and had to rely on motor bikes. Suhum MP Oboafo Donstes to Support Okorase Festival.  The Member of Parliament for Suhum Constituency in the Eastern Region, Honourable Oboafo Kwadjo Asante has joined the chiefs and elders of Suhum  Okorase to celebrate with them their Akwasidae. The MP assured the Okorase chief and his elders about his vision for the community and his willingness to help the community to get their fair share of the constituency and  national cake. The MP ceased the occasion to donate a beautiful set of traditional drums to the Okorase palace and the entire community. He also presented assorted drinks, bottle water and undisclosed amount of money to the chiefs and elders as they celebrate their 6th Akwasidae in the town.
