Cocoa Farmers Encourage to Adhere to Cocoa Value Chain Standardisation. As part of the effort of civil society organisations to ensure cocoa production is enhanced in the country, Citizens Watch Ghana, a non-governmental organisation with the support from the Ghana Civil Society Cocoa Platform (GCCP) in thier effort to ensure cocoa farmers are educated strictly on their cocoa business has organized a capacity workshop for cocoa farmers in and around Berekum District of the Bono region. The lead trainer Mr. Opoku  Achampong, the National Organizer of the Ghana Cooperative Cocoa Farmers Association and also the President of "Baakoye" Cooperative Cocoa Farmers Union in the Asante Bekwae, called on the cocoa farmers to ensure Africa Regional Standards are met with the European Union standardisation of cocoa production.
