2001 OLD STUDENTS OF BESS DONATES TO THE SCHOOL

BESSOSA 2001 DONATED TO THEIR ALMA MATER The Old Students of Berekum Senior High School in the Bono Region who completed in the year 2001 has done it again and this time round, donated 155 bags of cement.  The donation was in support of ongoing building projects in the school. This is the second time the year group is donating items to the school as part of their support in seeing the progress and development of their Alma mater. They donated street bulbs early this year to curb darkness on the campus. On behalf of the 2001 year group, Mr. Asare Bediako Seth (ABS) presented 155 bags of cements to the school said, " we the 2001 year group are ever poised to always support our alma mater because of the numerous benefits we have gained from the school." He said, the association is fully aware of challenges being faced including accommodation for teachers and students, transportation and dining hall turned into classroom, lack of facilities for over 2000 students

BEREKUM EAST CONSTITUENCY NPP EXECUTIVES FIGHT'S BEREKUMMAN CITIZENS ASSOCIATION AS THEY DEMOLISHED DEATH TRAP TOILET IN BEREKUM MAIN STATION. The people of Berekum in the Bono region, both home and abroad, coming together to form Berekumman Citizens Association have got good intention to build a world class and ultra modern toilet facility for the people of Berekum. The current toilet facility is dilapidated and death trap at the Berekum main station, the situation which is causing health hazards is unfortunate. The public toilet at the Berekum main station poses nuisance and hazardous health threats to the traders, commuters, drivers and the people living around the station. The existing toilet facility was half way demolished to pave way for a new ultra modern facility to be constructed but the demolition has attracted the wrath of the Berekum East NPP Party executive who use the toilet as the source of revenue to run the party activities such as attending funerals,

Berekum West MP Secures Ghc2,000,000.00 for Promised Projects

HON. KWAKU AGYENIM BOATENG SECURES GHC 2 MILLIIN TO CONSTRUCT DRAINAGE SYSTEM. The Member of Parliament (MP)for Berekum West Constituency in the Bono Region and Deputy Minister of Railways, Hon. Kwaku Agyenim Boateng has secured an amount of Ghc2,000,000.00 funding from the government to construct concrete drains in the Jinijini township. The construction which is currently ongoing the district capital, is one of the major developmental projects the people in the town has been calling for.  The situation has been very terrible and life threatening whenever it rains. Speaking on behalf of the MP, Hon. Peter Asoma Boampong, the NPP chairman for the constituency said the drainage system construction which commenced from the Jinijini market will pass through the streets of Ward C and Ward D to connect to the Ayimom road to enable easy accessibility to other parts of town.                             BEREKUM EAST MP TOURS CONSITITUENCY The MP of Berekum East Constituency in the Bono Region who also doubles as the Chairman of Parliamentary Select Committee on Health, Dr. Kwabena Twum Nuamah has embarked on a 3day tour visiting, ongoing and completed projects in his counstituency. The tour was in conjunction with his MCE; Hon. Kofi Adjei, NPP constituency Chairman; Mr. Kwaku Kamkam as well as other executives of the party. Berekum West Get 1D1F As Chiefs Tour Site

One of the president Nana Akuffo Addo's flagship program 1D1F which has been embraced across the country has yielded another fruit. This time round at Domfete in the Berekum West District of the Bono Region.  The DCE for Berekum West District, Hon. Isaac Osei together with the 20 chiefs and their elders in the District has paid a working visit to the multi million dollar   tomatoes factory which is currently at 80% completion, to encourage and motivate the CEO of the factory for the realistic achievement of 1D1F in the District. This is a familiarization tour organized by the DCE to aquint themselves of the activities at the factory and to also commend the President Nana Akuffo Addo for supporting them.
