Benkae Kwame Isaac the Assistant Bono Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party Appointed as Bono Regional Free Senior High School Coordinator. Residents and moto riders at Gorjiase in the Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region have called on the government to fix their bad roads with immediate effect. Due to the bad nature of the road, pregnant women are dying, residents are dying when they fall sick which is not helping them. Although the government declared last year as the year of roads, they have not seen any improvement in their road. Pupils of Nankese Ada M/A Primary School say they encounter reptiles anytime they come to school due deplorable school structure.  Pupils at Nankese Ada M/A Primary School in the Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region have been learning inside a deplorable, building structure which poses a danger to their lives and academic activities for many years now.  Nankese Ada is an Akan dialect which literally means squeeze your eyes and figuratively means endure. NDC James Gyakye Quason Re-Elected in the Assin North By-Election. The Assin North Member of Parliament Hon. James Gyakye Quason has been re-elected in today's by-election for the second time as the NDC Member of Parliament for the people in the Assin North constituency. The MP-elect Gyakye Quason pulled several 17,245 votes which represents 57.56% of the total votes while the NPP candidate Charles Opoku also pulled a total of 12,630 votes representing 42.15% of the total votes cast and the LPG candidate Beenice Enyonam Sefenu has 87 votes representing 0.29% of the total vote cast. The Electoral Commission's Returning Officer for Assin North declared James Gyekye Quason the winner of the by-election. The total valid vote cast was 29,962 and 30,418 is the total vote cast and rejected votes were 456 votes making the NDC Member Parliament Gyakye Quasin win with a wide margin of 5,158 votes.
