A Number of a 23 Passengers Injured At Suhum – Accra - Kumasi Highway at New life. A 23 passengers have sustained various degrees of injuries in a fatal accident on the Suhum stretch of the Accra-Kumasi Highway at New Life in the Eastern Region. The accident involved a sprinter bus from Kumasi with registration number GS 5967-22. According to reports, the speeding vehicle with passengers on board burst tyere, and in the process, the driver lost control of the steering wheel and crashed the vehicle into a bush. The victims including the driver are receiving medical treatment at the Suhum Government Hospital. Police and Fire service  officials arrived at the scene to rescue the victims to hospital. The incident which happened today 21st May 2023 Sunday morning at about 10:00 am claimed the life of a 17 years-old young lady by the name of Gloria whiles other injured passengers who are in critical condition are receiving treatment at the Holy Family Hospital in Berekum.
