Berekum LaNet Engages Basic School Children at Jinijini on Anti-corruption Campaign. An International Day of Anti-corruption (IDAC) 2025 which was observed across the globe on 9th December, Citizens Watch Ghana in collaboration with the Ghana Anti-corruption Coilation (GACC) celebrated the day with school children at Jinijini Presby JHS and Methodist JHS in the Berekum West District of the Bono region. The theme for this year's anti-corruption campaign was: "Uniting the youth against Corruption, Shaping Tomorrow's Integrity. Addressing the children the Executive Director of Citizens Watch Ghana and the Focal Person for the LaNet, Mr. Simon Asore emphasised on corruption manifestations such as bribery, extortion, fraud, nepotism, embellishment, conflict of interest and favoritism. AHMADIYYA JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL LAMBUSSIE DISTRICT ON 9TH DECEMBER, 2025 Hamile T.I. Ahmadiyya Junior High School in the Lambussie District celebrated the International Anti-Corruption Day on Tuesday, 9th December, 2025. The theme for the event was “Uniting with Youth Against Corruption: Shaping Tomorrow’s Integrity.” The programme was organised to teach students about corruption and encourage them to live honestly. The event started with an opening prayer by the School Senior Prefect. The Headmaster then gave the Welcome Address, reminding students of the importance of discipline, honesty, and good behaviour. Berekum LANet Advised School Children To Support The Fight Against Corruption. As part of the 2025 International Anti-Corruption Day, (IACD), Citizens Watch Ghana in partnership with Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition (GACC) with support from the, European Union, GIZ, William and Flora Hewlett Foundation has embarked on an anti-corruption campaign to sensitize students against corruption. The program which was held in two different basic schools in Berekum East Municipal of the Bono region on Monday 8th December, 2025 included the Preby (A) JHS and Mpatasie M/A JHS respectively representing 250 students. GOVERNMENT TO CALL CHIEF EXAMINER OF WAEC ABOUT THE OUTCOME OF 2025 WASSCE RESULTS-CLEMENT APAAK.  The  deputy Minister of Education, Hon. Clement Apaak  has said that, our education system is severely  challenging and therefore there are lots of crises at the sector that, NDC  government inherited which has led to the abysmal performance of the outcome of the 2025 WASSCE results. The Government has now admitted that there were a lot of challenges  in our education systems and   through the ministry of education, the government plan to call on the chief examiner of WAEC  to give report on the students performance and study from chief examiner about what went wrong on the outcome of this year 2025  WASSCE results. Atiwa East DCE Cuts the Sod for Construction of 6-Unit Classroom Block at Atiwa Bebome No 2 Community. The District Chief Executive, Mr. Ernest Owusu Ntim, has cut the sod for the construction of 6-Unit classroom block with ancillary facilities to enhance quality educational infrastructure in the District. The project, includes 2- store rooms, Staff common room, toilet facilities, mechanized borehole, furniture for staff and kindergarten furniture aim to address overcrowding to improve teaching and learning.
