Breaking news: Watch Video,  Gas and Fuel Station Set Ablaze in Sunyani Municipality Destroying Properties Worth Millions of Ghana Cedis.  A fire has razed down a Gas filling station together with a fuel pump station in the Sunyani Municipality of the Bono Region on the Wednesday night at about 10:30pm. Properties Worth of millions of Ghana cedis has gone through the fire out break.  The rest of the properties surrounding around the disaster scene were secured by the officers of the Ghana National Fire Service. Tension mounts at Independence Square as supporters of New Force are denied access to the facility. Supporters of the New Force have thronged the Independence Square chanting patriotic songs as they demand access to the venue for The Convention programme. The Convention was put together by the New Africa Foundation leader,  Nana Kwame Bediako (Freedom Jacob Caesar) who has declared himself as the man in the mask. #JoyNews #NewForce  is to bring together thought leaders in Africa including Professor PLO Lumumba, Peter Obi, Julius Malema, and others to speak on key challenges confronting Africa's development. The programme which was scheduled to start at 5 pm on Sunday, December 7, came on hold because some armed military men and police were deployed to  manned the entrance to the Independence Square, preventing entry to members of the public. Breaking News: Kumasi New Kejetia Market Catches Fire. Fire disaster today 15th March 2023 hit some parts of the Kumasi new Kejetia Market at the cloth sellers' shops in the market. Speaking to the eyewitness, the fire set in at about 4:30 pm on Wednesday around SAT area of the central business district in the Ashanti region's capital. The reports have it that fire service personnel were able to report on time to the scene to quench the engulfed market with fire whiles several millions of Ghana cedis and properties have lost through the fire. Breaking: Mmrantiehene of Sompa FM is dead. Veteran and popular media personality, Mmrantiehene Yeboah Afari ‘Ketekyew’ affectionately known as ‘Man 88’ of Sompa FM is reportedly dead. The shocking demise of the ace broadcaster was announced by a renowned editor, Adu Gyamfi in a WhatsApp post. He captioned the sad news; “BREAKING NEWS: Mmrantiehene of Sompa Fm is dead. 😭😭😭😭” Speaking to JMN24, Adum-Gyamfi indicated that Mmrantiehene was rushed to Manhyia hospital in Kumasi early today’s morning, September 17, 2022 over a sickness. He revealed that, the ace broadcaster died from blood pressure. “He was rushed to Manhyia hospital this morning. He also had blood pressure and died as a result”. He added. Fanteakwa South, Two Reportedly Drown In Nsuapem River. Domptey Bless, 21 years and Larbi Grant 23 years, all residents of Nsuapemso in the Fanteakwa South District of the Eastern region has met their untimely death today, Thursday 30th June, 2022. The two reportedly drowned in the Nsuapem river in the Nsuapemso community when they went for fishing from the river. Parents of the deceased revealed that, Domptey Bless and Larbi Grant left home this morning around 7:00am and later it was reported that they have drowned in the river. The two friends, Domptey and Larbi were known farmers in the community who farm together in the community.  They mortal remains of the two have been retrieved and has been handed over to the Ghana police service for postmortem.
