Dumasua Nkosouhene Together with Traditional Leaders Luanches Dumasua Nkosou Fun Club.
The Nkosouhene of Dumasua, Nana Ayebiafo Jnana together with Dumasua Chief Nana Kwame Amponssh II and other traditional leaders have on Saturday 6th January, 2024 launched Dumasua Nkosou Fun Club numbering over 300 citizens.
The formation of the fun club which was initiated by the Nkosuohene brought a lot of people to the event including the Member of Parliament in the Sunyani West Constituency, Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Justina Owusu Bannahen aka Awo, the Municipal Police Commander, Supt. Eric Anaaba, the Municipal Fire Commander, and Traditional Leaders among other people.
Speaking to Alrich24newsgh.blogspot.com/Alrich24TV, Nana Ayebaifo explained that, the fun club is a registered one with identification cards for every member and is expected that everyone above 18 years would be allowed to join the club.
He added that Dumasua very soon will become the beauty and the first tourist community to watch within the Bono region with developmental and accelerated projects that will bring transformation.
Jnana Ayebiafo commended the youth of Dumasua for rallying behind him with developmental projects he said, the youth in the community has now embraced the effort to transform the town and hence started to plant royal palm trees, flowers and green grasses to beautify the town.
He said, the fun club will very soon build a pure water factory, ICT Center and library and durbar grounds, and in so doing will bring Dumasua to a light and benefit the people in the community.
He again stated that all the streets in the town will be paved with concrete to uplift sanitation standards in the town and called on the people to be disciplined, united, motivated, and supportive to upgrade themselves to take action in the ability to bring the transformation of the only foundation to achieve their mission.
Nana Ayebiafo emphasises that the Dumasua Nkosou Transformation Project is a master craft plan that they will follow with all available avenues to create and build a new Dumasua which will connect to all sectors within the community either agriculture, service industry, transport, skill training and development, community engagement, technology, environmental cleanliness to harness the plan to overcome poverty and hunger in the area.
The Member of Parliament in the Sunyani West Constituency, Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah commended the Nkosouhene, Nana Ayebiafo Jnana and the youth of Dumasua for the hard work to transform the town which he believes amongst the towns within the constituency, Dumasua will be the town to watch when it comes to Tourism and beauty, a modern town that will be ahead of other towns if th projects are going to be executed accordingly and called on other communities to learn from what the people have started doing at Dumasua.
He therefore pledged his support to donate an amount of Ghc100,000.00 to support the ongoing projects at Dumasua.
The Sunyani West Municipal Police Commander, Chief Supt. Eric Anaaba promised his readiness to support the good course of the town by ensuring law and order are adhered to by the community members to enable them to bring Dumasua to the limelight.
