BEREKUM EAST NPP PRIMARIES: MOBILE PHONES NOT ALLOWED - POLICE COMMAND
The Divisional Police Commander in Berekum of the Bono Region, ACP Ebenezer Ampofo has announced the Police is well prepared to provide maximum security during the Berekum East NPP primaries scheduled for Saturday 20th June, 2020.
In a meeting with the four aspirants, constituency Chairman and Electoral Commission representative the Divisional Police commander briefed them on the security plans ahead of the election and assured them of maintaining peace during and after the election.
He informed them to strictly observed all the Covid-19 safety protocols.
He reiterated that there will be tight security to prevent any attempt to snatch ballot box at any of the 27 polling stations in the constituency.
No one will be allowed to stand close to the polling Center or allowed to use mobile phone during the time of casting a vote.
He finally urged that, the police will deal with anyone will go contrary to the rules set down by the police in Berekum during the Saturday elections.
