BONO REGIONAL NPP 2ND VICE CHAIRPERSON DONATES TO THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY

The 2nd Vice Chairperson of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bono Region - Madam Doris Asoma has presented an Covid-19 preventive items to the Muslim community in Senase in the Berekum East Municipality.

Speaking to the media during the donations she said, measures are in place in fighting the pandemic. All protocols must be adhered to especially after the President eased restrictions to open churches and mosques. The donation is to support Muslims follow all the protocols.

She urged them to observe protocols in fighting the virus especially social distancing, use of nose marks, application of hand sanitizers, washing of hands with soap under running water and others to reduce spread of the virus.

Items presented to the Senase Muslims included Veronica bucket with stand, boxes of hand sanitizers, gun thermometer, face marks, soaps and tissues to support them during service.  
Madam Doris Asoma again comended the Bono NPP Regional Chairman, Mr. Kwame Baffoe Abronye for donating items to all the constituencies. President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo was appreciated for laying down prudent measures to fight Covid-19 especially 3 months free water and electricity, stimulus packages for small scale businesses and fumigation of various institutions across the country to enable Ghanaians to survive in this abnormal times.
The NASARA Coordinator for Berekum East Constituency, Alhaji Salu who received the items on behalf of the Senase Muslims community, thanked Madam Doris Asoma for her kind support towards the well being of the Muslim community at Senase by providing them with Covid 19 items for their Mosque prayers.

He said the items will help them a lot during their mosque service and will positioned at vantage points at the mosque for mass use.

He also thanked the regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe Abronye for his support in the region in the fight against the disease.
