ICGC BEREKUM BRANCH DONATES TO HOLY FAMILY HOSPITAL


INTERNATIONAL CENTRAL GOSPEL CHURCH (ICGC) DONATES TO HOLY FAMILY HOSPITAL, BEREKUM

The Berekum Branch of the International Central Gospel  Church (ICGC) has donated an assorted items worth about Ghc2000.00 to the Maternity Ward of the Berekum Holy Family Hospital.
The items which includes toiletries,drinks, soaps, pampers, detergents, and others were received by the ward In-charge Mrs Augustina Mensah.
The head pastor, Pastor Julius Ansah in his speech said it is in the plans of the church to support the hospital as the year comes to an end. He said they have prayed for the facility but the prayers alone is not enough but physically they have to extend their hands to the hospital.
He said that, the church has considered to adopt the hospital's maternity ward to help support the ward in order to reduce maternal death at the hospital. He also prayed that no child death  be recorded at the ward come next year.
He said, moving forward the church will keep visiting the ward at regular intervals to monitor the situation at the ward to make sure all the mothers and their babies are safe after labor.


The authorities at the maternity ward expressed their joy for receiving such a kind gesture from the Berekum ICGC. They appealed to the other agencies and churches to always come and visit the hospital.

Some of the mothers at the maternity ward also thanked the church for paying them a visit and also remembering them during this festive mood.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
