AFRAM PLAINS MP DONATES TO DONKOKROM HOSPITAL


Hon Betty Krosbi Mensah Donates 5 Brand New Air Condition To Presbyterian Hospital In Donkokrom

The member of parliament for Afram plains North in the Eastern Region has today 1st December 2018 donated 5 brand new air condition to the Presbyterian Hospital at Donkokrom the District capital of Afram plains North.
The General Manager of the hospital Mr. Ezekiel Amadu Daribi addressing the gathering was overwhelmed by the warm reception they have received from the member of parliament when they called on to her to help them furnished the hospital’s conference room. Mr. Amadu said, the member of parliament did not hesitate to give in to their demands to support them complet the conference room. He therefore pleaded with the staffs of the hospital to remember the member of parliament in their prayers for her good works towards the development of the constituency and most importantly the hospital.
Hon. Betty Krosbi Mensah on her part said, the Afram Plains North constituency is in her hearts, she always thinks, dreams and love support the constituency entirely, so she will do anything possible with her strengths to push the constituency forward. She said It is her vision and mission to lobby for all the necessary infrastructural development like roads, schools, water and many more for the good people of Afram Plains North constituency.
The MP said the health of the people of Afram plains North is her outmost priority and will do everything possible to ensure that her people get quality health care and urged the staffs of the hospital to show strong commitment and dedication towards their work and the delivery of health services to the people in the area.
The MP finally speak against the NPP government and said, is a failure and must be kicked out come 2020 elections to give way for a better government under NDC, she said the Nana Addo led government failed to attached a health facility to the cattle ranch he commissioned recently and said we all know the health risk cattle stationed at an open space poses to the people, so the government could have done better by providing the people with a health facility alongside the cattle ranch.
In another development, the MP donated a set of drums to the community to fulfilled a campaign promises made to the people.

Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II was a doctor by profession and an active Church elder of the Church of Pentecost who serve the people of Berekum with calm and peaceful leadership who seek to maintain peace and unity after 17 years of chieftaincy dispute during his reign as the paramount chief of Berekum. A Student of Ghana National College from Sunyani-Chiraa Scores 8A's in 2023 WASSCE.  A Senior High Student of Ghana National College in Cape Coast, Owusu Peprah Priscilla who hails from Chiraa in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region has also scored 8A's in the West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).  Her effort and the results she obtained have brought great joy to her family and the people of Chiraa without hesitation wishing her congratulations on most of the social media platforms. She started her basic education at Solomon Bennet Memorial School in Sunyani from her infancy.  Priscilla's family and well-wishers are appealing to the government as a matter of urgency to help ensure the right course of study will be offer to her at her tertiary education level.
