Nana Akuamoah Boateng II Foundation puts smiles in the faces of 350 Berekum widows

AKUAMOAH BOATENG FOUNDATION DONATES TO 350 WIDOWS IN BEREKUM.  Over 350 widows living in Berekum in the Bono Region have received Christmas packages with items like 5kg rice, oil, tin tomatoes and chicken. Nana Akuamoah Boateng (II) Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization which has undertaken the cost to support widows and the less privileged in society over 4 years has again, put smiles on the faces of widows in Berekum. The foundation which is poised to help the needy also gives scholarship to brilliant but needy students. Nana Asomah Hinneh promoted to COP by the President Nana Akufo Addo

Dec 28, 2019 Nana Addo promotes Nana Asomah Hinneh, 20 other police officers to higher ranks. President Akufo-Addo has promoted five Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCOP) and 16 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACP). Those who have been newly-promoted include the Director of Police Public Affairs, David Eklu who was elevated from the ACP to DCOP rank. The promotions which followed the recommendation of the Police Council also take effect from January 1, 2020. A statement from the police service making the announcement noted: “The Police Administration wishes the newly promoted officers heartiest congratulations. Of particular mention from Officers of the Public Affairs Department is their Director-General, DCOP Mr. David S. Eklu.” Commissioners who have been newly promoted are: 1. The Omanhemaa of Berekum Traditional Area in the Bono Region, Nana Akosua Ameyaahene III, has extended her warmest end of year greetings to the people of Berekum and those living abroad. Kwaku Agyenim Boateng popularly called Agogo who doubles as the Deputy Minister of Railways Development has commissioned a first class maternity ward at Nkyenkyenmamu, a weighing center at Botokrom and educational material to other communities. Commissioning the maternity ward at Nkyenkyenmamu, the MP said that due to how distant the town is from the nearest maternity center, pregnant women there are challenged with access to antenatal care and delivery during labour. Berekum drivers laments, saying Npp Authorities in the town are sleeping and relax for development

BEREKUM NPP HEADS ARE SLEEPING AND RELAX ON DEVELOPMENT. The people of Berekum Municipality and Berekum West District in the Bono Region who have been voting for the NPP for the past 20 years are now throwing back at the NPP party executives and their leaders over lack of development. According to some of the citizens, the party's government appointees in Berekum are sleeping on their jobs and nothing is moving in Berekum. They claim they have been faithful to the party over the years but have nothing substantial to boost of.
