Omanhemaa of Berekum advises her citizens living in abroad.

BEREKUM OMANHEMAA ADVISES NATIVES IN THE DIASPORA.

The Omanhemaa of Berekum Traditional Area in the Bono Region, Nana Akosua Ameyaahene III, has extended her warmest end of year greetings to the people of Berekum and those living abroad.

Speaking to the media,  she thanked God for a successful year and His protection upon the people of Berekum and Ghana.

She said God has been good to the people of Berekum even restoration of peace on the land and pray that peace will continue to reign in the town.

She advised her citizens living in the Diaspora to be careful in their daily life activities, stating that, they should always remember that they are visitors in the countries hence they must avoid any potential dangers in their movement.
Nana Akosua Ameyaahene III made the statement when Berekumman Citizens Association called on her at her private residence to interact with her.
On her vision to bring DVLA office to Berekum, Nana said, she has acquired the Berekum old Council office to be used for the DVLA office but said the cost involved to refurbish the old building is very high and has managed to begin refurbish works at the site.
She then appealed to the people of Berekum living in Ghana and abroad especially Berekumman Citizens Association and other Associations to come to her aid and make her dream a reality.

The Berekum chapter and some UK Executives of the association who paid homage to the queen mother also encouraged her to keep up the good work she is doing for the people and promised to support the DVLA office project by the Omanhemaa which is ongoing.

Berekum Katohemaa reinntroduces Traditional Akan Games for Children at Kato Community.
