Berekum West MP suprises constituents ahead of Christmas as he made donations to communities.

BEREKUM WEST MP COMMISSIONS PROJECTS AND SUPPLIES HEALTH AND EDUCATIONAL EQUIPMENT TO 3 COMMUNITIES.

The Member of Parliament for Berekum West Constituency in the Bono Region, Hon. Kwaku Agyenim Boateng popularly called Agogo who doubles as the Deputy Minister of Railways Development has commissioned a first class maternity ward at Nkyenkyenmamu, a weighing center at Botokrom and educational material to other communities.

Commissioning the maternity ward at Nkyenkyenmamu, the MP said that due to how distant the town is from the nearest maternity center, pregnant women there are challenged with access to antenatal care and delivery during labour. He continued that, the situation touched his heart to construct a new maternity ward for the people to reduce the difficulties the women in the town go through during pregnancy.

He said although the community is in a remote area, building the maternity block for them will help solve the challenges they face when it comes to quality health accessibility.
Hon. Agogo stocked the facility with equipment to assist the health workers and to boost service delivery.
He presented a TV set, fridge, waiting chairs, weighing machine, poly tank, cabinet, table and chairs to begin their work. The community has an old health center but the MP decided to build a new one for the people. The old clinic will serve as a bungalow for the nurses and the health workers.

The Hon. Agogo assured the people to be calm since their road which is under construction will be completed in due time.

Mr. Emmanul Apraku in charge of the Nkyenkyenmamu Health Center thanked the MP for his kind gesture to support quality health delivery in the community. He promised on behalf the stuff to make good use of the facility and to maintain the material supplied to them. He then called on the people in the area to rally behind the MP come 2020 to keep continue with its good works.

The MP together with his party executives and party faithfuls continued to commissioned another health facility at Botokrom, a Weighing Center which the MP has constructed for the people in the town to support the services of the Botokrom health center. He said without quality health in our life, we will be stalk in our daily activities and cannot do anything hence his plans to build health facilities for the people in the constituency.

Hon. Kwaku Agyenim Boateng as he did for the people of Nkyenkyenmamu again supplied TV set, fridge, waiting chairs, bed, weighing scale, table and chairs to the Botokrom health center.

The MP's initiative was geared towards the supply of health apparatus to some health centres in the constituency and also supplied teachers table and chairs to schools. He supplied over 2000 dual and mono desks to schools which lacked chairs. 

The chief of Botokrom, Nana Oppong Amankona Diawuo receiving the equipment and dual desk  thanked the MP for what he has done for the people.
He encouraged the children in the town to take their education serious  and advised them not to absent themselves for tomatoes harvest and other farming activities but should always be in school.
The people of Amankokwaa were not left out during the presentation of health equipments. Their CHPs compound was ststocked with brand new TV, a bed, fridge, table and chairs, waiting chairs, weighing scale.

The chief of Amankokwaa, Nana Adu Boahen Kusi Amoah Gyan II and his people thanked the MP for bringing change to the centre.

Aside the health equipment supplied to the three communities, the MP donated mono and dual desk as well as teachers table and chairs to his constituents.

According to the MP he observed that some of the school lacked chairs so he planned to provide them with over 2000 dual and mono desks.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
