Ayensuano Residents Alleges "Our Former MP Ayeh Paye Used His Common Fund On Girls Without Constructing Any Single Road In Our Area".

The residents of Ayensuano District of the Eeatern Region have expressed their displeasure over the poor state of their roads in the area linking them to other communities.


According to them several road accidents involving motorists and pedestrians have been recorded in the area due to the bad nature of the roads as drivers find it difficult to ply on that route.


The road is covered with dust when moving vehicles ply it makes life in the communities unbearable for businesses and other health condition.


They added that, we produc cocoa, cassava, plantain and farm produce, but nothing has been done on our roads which pregnant women are dying due to the bad nature of our roads, the claimed.


Speaking with Sorienews reporter Opamago Paparichy, who visited the communities, they said there has not been any attempts by authorities to renovate the roads despite its poor condition.


They therefore called on government to fix the roads to curb the crisis to promote the development in the area.


The drivers from Nsawam, Asuboi, Suhum among others who uses the roads as link-ups, usually end up in an accident due to the deplorable state of the road.

Nana Mensah Govina the Chief of Aworoeso Community told Opamago Paparichy over the bad nature of the roads in the area.


He said, they are very disappointed in their former MP Ayeh Paye who was the roads committee chairman in parliament, but he never initiated any attempts to construct any of the deplorable roads in his constituency during his time making the people in the area facing unbearable challenges.
