STAFF OF GHANA SCHOOL FEEDING PROGRAMME TO DEMONSTRATE OVER NON-PAYMENT OF THEIR 9 MONTHS SALARIES. 

Th staffs of Ghana school feeding programme across the country to demonstrate over non-payment of their nine (9) months salary. 


According to the staff, the entire management of Ghana school feeding programme including, the secretariat, 

drivers, national, regional, zonal coordinators and among other workers are threatened to demonstrate to demand for the delayed of their monthly salaries since they are going through tough financial challenges as staffs.


The staffs alleged that, the non-payment of their salaries is perceived to be maligned with the negligence of the chief director's duty to follow the lay down financial regulations to pay the staffs who are deemed to be paid.


Alrich24newsgh.com speaking to some of the staffs behind camera claimed that, they cannot wait anymore for all these while and are all calling for the immediate payment of their salaries because they cannot continue with the hunger they are going through especially during the Easter season. 


According to them, the Gender, Children and Social Protection Ministry must be up and doing to monitor the situation on the ground because the staff at the secretariat are going through a very difficult times if nothing is done to solve the situation, they will soon hit the streets to demonstrate to press home their demand over non-payment of their lock up salaries. 


Some of the staffs mentioned that, both Christian and Muslim staffs at the ministry have suffered a lot, because during Ramadan, Christmas and Easter seasons of happiness, what as staffs experience was a moment of dryness with their family members all because there was no money with them to celebrate such occasions. 


They are therefore calling on the Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection as a matter of urgency to respond to their plea else they will hit the street with a massive demonstration across Ghana to cry for their delayed salaries.

The announcement of the demise of the Berekum Traditional leader was done today Friday 9th June 2023 by the chief spiritualist of Berekum Nana Komfo Kofi who was asked to take care of the health of the paramount chief but on his announcement, the paramount chief could not make it but joined his ancestors. Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II was a doctor by profession and an active Church elder of the Church of Pentecost who serve the people of Berekum with calm and peaceful leadership who seek to maintain peace and unity after 17 years of chieftaincy dispute during his reign as the paramount chief of Berekum. A Student of Ghana National College from Sunyani-Chiraa Scores 8A's in 2023 WASSCE.  A Senior High Student of Ghana National College in Cape Coast, Owusu Peprah Priscilla who hails from Chiraa in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region has also scored 8A's in the West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).  Her effort and the results she obtained have brought great joy to her family and the people of Chiraa without hesitation wishing her congratulations on most of the social media platforms.
