LET'S YOUR EXISTENCE BE FELT IN YOUR HOST COMMUNITIES  -WESTERN REGIONAL MINISTER URDGES COMPANIES. 

The Western Regional Minister, Kobby Okyre Darko Mensah has called on the multi-dollar companies in the Western region of Ghana to ensure that their host communities are well developed to ensure a peaceful co-existence between them.


He said, the host communities suffered the most incase of unwanted disaster in a company so he has directed companies to transition their prosperity agenda into their host communities. 


The Western regional minister made this call in an interview when the West African Gas Pipeline (WAPCo) unveiled a special monument to Mark its 10th year of commercial operations in Ghana.


The West African Gas Pipeline has transitioned into a multi shipper environment, allowing access to multiple supply sources of natural gas to multiple customers.

 

The western region minister added that although the west African gas pipeline company limited has given scholarships to students in it's host communities, there's a need for them to employ more youth to enable them to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor.


The managing director of West African Gas Pipeline company limited, Gregory Germani also in an interview said, the company over 10 years exists to ensure the supply of quality gas to people of Ghana.


He said, they are ready to employ people from the area and also will make sure their corporate social responsibilities are met in fulfillment of their pledge to help the people as the company is ten years now.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
