SUNYANI EAST CONSTITUENCY OF NPP CONGRATULATES LAWYER TUAH-YEBOAH, DEPUTY MINISTER DESIGNATE, MINISTRY OF JUSTICE AND ATTORNEY GENERAL.

On behalf of the Sunyani East Constituency of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), I wish to congratulate Lawyer Alfred Tuah-Yeboah for his nomination as Deputy Minister-designate for Justice/Attorney-General, pending parliamentary approval.

The Sunyani East NPP is extremely grateful to the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the nomination of Lawyer Tuah-Yeboah and we hope that he would further champion the course of the party while serving the nation at large.

Even though Lawyer Alfred Tuah-Yeboah lost last year’s NPP parliamentary primaries to the incumbent MP for Sunyani East, Kwasi Ameyaw-Cheremeh, he played an active role in the party’s campaign activities both at the constituency and regional levels.

The Sunyani East constituency recognizes and acknowledges the various sums of monies and large quantities of branded party T-shirts and other party paraphernalia donated by Lawyer Tuah-Yeboah to the constituency in support of campaign activities ahead of the 2020 general elections.

We believe that Lawyer Tuah-Yeboah will serve his motherland well when approved by Parliament and we wish him well.

The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club. According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740. Nsoatre Traditional Council expresses their heartfelt condolences to Otumfour,the family of the deceased ,the widow and the entire Kumasi Asante Kotoko football fraternity. THE SKY TRAIN SAGA—WIld Goose Chase. The Sky Train project which received considerable media coverage during Nana Akufo-Addo’s regime has resurfaced. This time, a purported amount of 2million dollars assigned for the project cannot be traced( according to Ghana’s Attorney General and Minister for Justice). Our investigation into the matter reveals the following facts. 1.The erstwhile Ministry of Railways Development has stated categorically that government did not allocate any funds for the Sky Train Project. 2. The Ministry managed to support the preparation of a 300 page PRE-FEASIBILITY report which was the basis for discussions with an investor group, Ai Sky Train Consortium ( a subsidiary of Africa Investor Consortium based in South Africa). 3.
