Chiraa Development Committee Chairman donates bungalow to Chiraa Health Centre on his birthday.

CHIRAA HEALTH CENTRE GETS BUNGALOW.

A well furnished self contained doctors' bungalow has been donated to the Chiraa Health Centre in the Sunyani West Municipalilty of the Bono Region.

 The building which cost Ghc325,000.00 was constructed by Mr. Daniel Kwasi Asante aka Asaase Aban took the occasion to celebrat his birthday anniversary on Wednesday, 28th April, 2021 to present the keys of the house to the authorities of the centre. 

The birthday celebration and donation together attracted a well meaning citizens of Chiraa Adasuakour to the occasion. Present at the event was the Chief and Queen mother of Chiraa; Berima Minta Afari and Nana Yeboah Penni as well as sub-chiefs, the clergy, Sunyani West Municipal officials, staff of the Health centre and people of Chiraa.

The birthday celebrant - Asaase Aban, his wife and the family thanked God for His protection upon the family and expressed joy as they handed over the keys to the bungalow to Chiraahene to also in turn handed it to the doctor in charge of the centre.

Mr. Asante added that he will not stop this kind of benevolent but will continue to serve his people with good heart for the progress of Chiraa. Being the Chairman of the Chiraa Development Committee, he therefore called on others to emulate his steps for the progress of Chiraa.

The Chief of Chiraa, Berima Minta Afari applauded Mr. Asante for his quick response whenever he is called upon to execute any project for the benefit of Chiraa people. Adding it is not surprising to see him donating a nice edifice as a gift on his birthday to the Health centre. 


He thanked him for what he has done for the centre and the people of Chiraa and prayed for more years for him and his family to live long to achieve all his dreams for the town. 

The Queen mother of Chiraa, Nana Yeboah Pinne cut the tape to commission the bungalow to finally handover to the Health centre for use but urged them to make good use of it and also to maintain it properly for generations to come. She sung a birthday song for Asaase Aban to cut the birthday cake. 

Dr. Kumi Frimpong the in charge of the facility thanked Mr. Kwasi Asante for his kind gesture to always help keep the centre running. He announced that all the necessary documents needed to secure a Hospital status for the centre have been forwarded to the Ministry of Health and believe there is going to be positive response very soon to upgrade the health center to hospital status.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
