Wenchi Security To Force Fulaniheads Men Out of Wenchi.

The Wenchi Municipal Assembly together with the Wenchi Tradition Council and the Divisional Police Command has come into an agreement to drive away fulaniheads men out from the land of Wenchi and its environs.


At the stakeholders engagement meeting with affected farmers in Wenchi, it came to light that, cattle grazing and the activities of fulaniheads men has devastating most farm lands around Wenchi and its surrendering communities hence the decision to drive them out from their lands is in a right direction according to the affected community members.


Some chiefs and farmers claim, the attitude of the fulaniheads men is very bad, especially they attack farmers and even rape some of their women as well as destroying their farm products.


The Wenchi Municipal Police Commander, Chief Supretendent Kinsley Owusu Bempah assured the chiefs and people that, henceforth they will not allow any cattle and fulaniheads men to graze on any farm land in Wenchi.

The Paramount Chief of Wenchi, Osagyefo Ampem Anye Amoanpong said, he see to it that, fulaniheads will have no place to destroy the farm lands in Wenchi and refuted that claim that, he has not given any fulaniheads to stay and destroy farmers produce.


The MCE of Wenchi Municipal Hon. Gloria Opoku Gyamfi also expressed her appreciation to the Omanhene of Wenchi and the Divisional police commander for the bold decision to put their feet on the ground to ensure life and property is protected against invaders of the land.

25-Year-Old Young Man Electrocuted in Berekum . A suspected thief by the name Oboshie in his 25 years has been electrocuted at Berekum Nyamebekyere in the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono region . According to eye-witnesses, the suspected thief's lifeless body was found on the food vendor metal container as he attempted to steal from the container of the vendor who operates in a metal container.
