Dormaa Central Parliamentary Candidates Engage in Peaceful Debate.

The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) successfully has hosted a debate for parliamentary candidates in Dormaa Central of the Bono region, focusing on pressing issues such as employment, healthcare, roads, and agriculture. 


Eder Seth Obroni, Director of NCCE for Dormaa Central Municipality, emphasized the commission's commitment to fairness, accountability, and equity, highlighting the importance of informed decision-making among citizens.


Madam Cynthia Anima Boadu, the Bono Regional Director of NCCE, commended the participating candidates for their willingness to engage in a peaceful and informative debate.


The debate featured Hon. Kwaku Agyeman Manu (NPP), Mr. Uroy Joechee Edem (GCPP), and Mr. John Kwame Adu Jack (NDC).

 

The Candidates discussed strategies for job creation and economic growth and healthcare. 


The Debaters presented plans for improving access to quality healthcare services, roads as they outlined proposals for infrastructure development, road maintenance and  agriculture.

The three candidates shared their visions for boosting agricultural productivity and food security within the Constituency.


Hon. Kwaku Agyeman Manu pledged to promote peaceful campaign, urging their opponents to refrain from insults and maintain a respectful tone throughout the electoral process.


Mr John Kwame Adu Jack, the  parliamentary candidate for NDC also pledged to hold in high esteem his opponents throughout his campaign.


This debate demonstrates the NCCE's dedication to promoting informed citizenship, accountability, and peaceful elections in Ghana.

25-Year-Old Young Man Electrocuted in Berekum . A suspected thief by the name Oboshie in his 25 years has been electrocuted at Berekum Nyamebekyere in the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono region . According to eye-witnesses, the suspected thief's lifeless body was found on the food vendor metal container as he attempted to steal from the container of the vendor who operates in a metal container. His death attracted a crowd of the Berekum people to the scene on the street of Nyamebekyere as everyone wants to catch a glimpse of the deceased over the incident of frequent robbery attacks and stealing in the Municipality.
