NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER.

The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club. 


According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.


Nsoatre Traditional Council expresses their heartfelt condolences to Otumfour,the family of the deceased ,the widow and the entire Kumasi Asante Kotoko football fraternity. 



Nana Hinner Marfo Nsoatre Dabehene on behalf of the Traditional Council at a press conference in Sunyani stated that they  see football as a game that should unite families, villages, towns, cities and countries but what happened  is a disgrace to all football lovers.


Nana Dabehene has assured Asanteman and the entire country that, Nsoatre Traditional Council would do everything within their  means to uncover the perpetrators to face the laws of this country.


We want to assure all peace loving citizens that Nsoatre is a peaceful town and Nananom would not superintend any unlawful acts that would bring disgrace and lawlessness into this country.He added.


He said the Traditional Council hopes to maintain the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman and would liaise with the security agencies to fight for justice for the family of the deceased.

Sunyani East, Kotokrom-New Dormaa Tarred Road Gets Second Seal. The ongoing construction of the major road of the New Dormaa-Kotokrom road in the Sunyani Municipality of the Bono Region which was recently primer sealed for the final seal started today Saturday 16th March. 2024 to complete the one-sided of the road. Government has intention of asphalting that high way in the near future. For the mean tine it is being tarred to prepare grounds for an asphalt overlay.
