Berekum East MP Sponsors 2024 Teachers Prize Awards.

Berekum East Municipal Education Directorate has honoured a number of dedicated and deserving teachers under the support of the Member of Parliament of Berekum East Constituency, Nelson Kyeremeh.


The Bono Regional Minister, Honourable Justina Awo Banahene called for continuous support to encourage teachers to work harder for Ghanaian children.



The Director of Education for Berekum East Municipal, Mrs. Beatrice Mamle Nkum commended the award winning teachers for their hard work and called on teachers within the Municipality to build a supportive and inclusive learning environment to boost education in the area.






The Member of Parliament (MP) for Berekum East Constituency, Honourable Nelson Kyeremeh who sponsored the Berekum MP's Teachers Prize with a number of Double-door fridge, Table-top, fridge and a sets of Televisions to the deserving teachers and encouraged them to embrace teaching as a noble profession since he was also once a teacher before becoming the Member of Parliament for Berekum East.



The Overall Best Teacher for the Berekum MP's Teachers Prize, Mr. Abraham Obeng received his prize with joy but called on the leaders to provide chairs for the children since chairs are in shortage in some schools.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
