Some Detained Nursing Mothers at KATH Relief  of Medical Bills by Madam Rebecca Kaaley. 

The Chairperson of God's Coming Kingdom Foundation, Madam Rebecca Kaaley has paid the medical bills for some nursing mothers who were struggling to pay their bills at A1 maternity ward at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.


God's Coming Kingdom Foundation, the founder, Mr. Solomon Abronoma Nyarko, who based in Holland has through his non-governmental Organization- God's Coming Kingdom Foundation donated an amount of money to his team to pay the bills of the detained nursing mothers. 


She said, the nursing mothers and their babies had recovered from their sickness but could not afford the bills presented to them. Some of the mothers were presented with medical bills of as much as Ghc 75,000.00.


The Chairperson of God’s Coming Kingdom Foundation, Madam Rebecca Kaaley who donated and payed medical bills for the poor and needy at the hospital has been the second time in year that the NGO has shared their social responsibility to the health sector. 


The intervention has been helpful as many patients particularly mothers who delivered through caesarean or suffered complications during childbirth struggling to pay huge bills were issued the money to relief them. 


Madam Rebecca Kaaley speaking with Alrich24newsgh.com news reporter Apelete Kofi-Michel, said the reason why they came is to extend a helping hand to those who are poor and need support.

 She said, the NGO chose Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi because this is where they come from, she explained.


The practice of detaining people in hospitals for the non-payment of medical bills is common in Healthcare facilities across the country therefore they will not relent in supporting the needy in the health sector. 


The Chairperson of God's Coming Kingdom Foundation, Madam Rebecca Kaaley said the gesture forms part of the Foundation aim to help reduce maternal mortality to meet the sustainable development Goal.


She added that, God's Coming Kingdom Foundation is a Non-profit organization with a mission of spreading the love of God by putting smiles on the faces of the needy and the less privileged in society through impactful social interventions and community development programs.


The Principal Nursing Officer in charge A1 ward at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Madam Akparibo Gertrude expressed her appreciation for the gesture by the God's Coming Kingdom Foundation an NGO for coming to the aid of the nursing mothers who were detained.


She therefore appealed to the corporate institutions and Philanthropists to come to the aid of other persons in detention at the facility. 


She described the situation as troubling due to the number of women discharged after delivery but are unable to leave due to inability to settle their medical bills.




So we are appealing to others to follow suit to intermittently to come to the aid to relief poor mothers who struggle to settle their bills.


Some of the beneficiary mothers were thankful to God's Coming Kingdom Foundation team and the founder Mr. Solomon Abronoma Nyarko for their support.
