The Chief of Berekum-Amomaso, Nana Gyabeng Damoah II together with his elders has installs Nkosuahene and also confirm Nkosuohemaa for Development.


The Chief and People of Berekum-Amomaso in the Berekum West District of the Bono Region on Monday 2nd June, 2024 installed a new Nkosuohene, Nana Yeboah Asuamah and also confirmed the Nkosuahemaa Nana Aduse Pokuaa for the purpose of development to bring chnage in the Amomaso town.


Speaking at the installation ceremony, the chief of Amomaso, Nana Gyabeng Damoah II advised the new Nkosuahene, Nana Yeboah Asuamh I to embrace everyone in his leadership to help him achieve what the people are expecting from him.


He urged him to stand firm to collaborate with the chiefs in everything to maintain the taste of life the people have experienced with his developmental treats.


On his part, the Kontihene of Berekum-Fetentaa Nana Obeng Korang II who is also a brother to the Nkosuahene encouraged them to keep working hard for the development of the town so that it will keep attract good name to their already earn image.


He advised them to do their best to bring development to the community since out of their little contributions has given them the Nkosuo stool.




The newly insatlled Nkosuaohene, Nana Yeboah Asuamah who is in his private life is called Richard Darko, the CEO of Nhyira Farms, a poultry farmer delivering his speech at the ceremony thanked the chiefs and people for the honour done him and said, quite apart from what he has done already, he is ever poised to fight against teenage pregnancy which is affecting the teenage girls in the town and also will consider renovate a female toilet facility for the women in the Amomaso town.


The Nkosuahemaa, Nana Akua Aduse Pokuaa, the CEO of Nacom Edd Fish Farm who was also confirmed at the program also expressed her sincere gratitude to the leaders of the town and thanked the people of Amomaso for the great love shown them to elevate them to lead in developmental agenda of the town which they are ready to serve.


She called on the youth and people of Amomaso to rally behind them to bring development to the Amomaso community since much is expecting from them to do beyond measure.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
