Sunyani East, Kotokrom-New Dormaa Tarred Road Gets Second Seal.

The ongoing construction of the major road of the New Dormaa-Kotokrom road in the Sunyani Municipality of the Bono Region which was recently primer sealed for the final seal started today Saturday 16th March. 2024 to complete the one-sided of the road.

Government has intention of asphalting that high way in the near future.

For the mean tine it is being tarred to prepare grounds for an asphalt overlay.

The contractor has hinted an immediate move to the other side of the road after the sealing works is completed.

Berekum Katohemaa reinntroduces Traditional Akan Games for Children at Kato Community. The Queen Mother of Berekum-Kato who also doubles as the Wrempehemaa of Berekum Traditional Area, in the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono region, Nana Afia Siraah Ababio III has reintroduced a traditional games and plays at her community to rebuild the lost akan culture of our traditions to inculcate in the young children between the ages of 6 and 17 years in Berekum and its environs.
