GIFEC ENDS TWO WEEKS OF ICT SKILLS TRAINING IN COLLABORATION WITH JAMAN SOUTH MCE. 

Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) has completed an ICT skills training for selected people with the Digital Transformation Centres (DTC) Project.


Speaking at the Climax ceremony on, April 27th 2023, the representative for GIFEC urged all participants to capitalize on the skills acquired through this rare opportunity, to enhance their businesses, employability and school educational training.


Touching on GIFEC’s contribution to ICT and skills development in the Municipality, The representative for Jaman South Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Andrews Bediako said, GIFEC has been instrumental in the provision of ICT equipment, Telephony and Capacity Building and encouraged all to take full advantage of this development for maximum benefits.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740. THE SKY TRAIN SAGA—WIld Goose Chase. The Sky Train project which received considerable media coverage during Nana Akufo-Addo’s regime has resurfaced. This time, a purported amount of 2million dollars assigned for the project cannot be traced( according to Ghana’s Attorney General and Minister for Justice). Our investigation into the matter reveals  the following facts. 1.The erstwhile Ministry of Railways Development has stated categorically that government did not allocate any funds for the Sky Train Project.  2. The Ministry managed to support the preparation of a 300 page PRE-FEASIBILITY report which was the basis for discussions with an investor group, Ai Sky Train Consortium ( a subsidiary of Africa Investor Consortium based in South Africa). 3.
