According to the Coordinator of NLA Good Causes Foundation, Ms Amma Frimpong, the quest to construct the borehole is a result of a request from Ms Amma Frimpomaa Dwumah, a native of Odumase and the Chief Executive Officer of SIC Life.

A total of four out of 10 mechanised boreholes have been constructed by the foundation to help give the people of Sunyani West access to potable drinking water, especially in some communities that lack access to potable drinking water.

She cautioned parents to desist from sending their children below 18 years to be sent to stake lotto on their behalf.

Ms Frimpong also encouraged the people to participate in staking the lotto with NLA but they should do it responsibly.

Nana Yeboah Pene II commended Ms Amma Frimpomaa Dwummah for the act of kindness towards Sunyani West Constituency.

She said, the people in the community have had challenges in accessing portable drinking water for some years now but by the kind courtesy of NLA the people living in these communities will benefit a lot from the borehole.

She blesses and praised NLA Good Causes for their kind gesture and asked for more to be given back to Chiraa.

The Queen mother also thanked Amma Frimpomaa for always coming to support Chiraa with developmental projects.

According to Amma Frimpomaa Dwumah explaining why she moved to solicit funds for the construction of boreholes, she said “I grew up in Odumasi, I know how difficult it was for us to access good drinking water. Hearing about NLA Good Causes Foundation, I appealed to them to help us get some mechanized boreholes for communities in the Sunyani West Municipal and ten mechanized boreholes were approved to be constructed in the Municipality,"

She pleaded with the communities that have benefitted from the boreholes to ensure that the boreholes are well-taken care of to serve their purpose constructed.
