Akim Abuakwa Apedwahene Ask to Retract and Render an Unqualified Apology to COP Rtd Kwasi Nkansah for ill Statement Made.

The Retired Commissioner of Ghana Police and Chief Executive Officer of Mother Love Hospital, Mr. Kwasi Nkansah has asked Apedwahene in the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Council of the Eastern Region, Osabarima Frimpong Manso to retract a statement he made against him and also to render an unqualified apology to him.

He however gave Osabarima Frimpong Manso the Apedwahene of the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Council,10 days ultimatum to come out publicly to apologized to him before Ghanaians and entire Akyem Abuakwa Traditional area of his disgrace statement made against him, otherwise has threatened to take legal action against the chief.

He again established that, Osabarima Frimpong Manso should distance himself from the land dispute issues that has occured between Kofi Anokye popularly known as Koans and Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Council.

It was recalled that, Osabarima Frimpong Manso in a press conference, dated 27th August 2022 on Adom TV/Fm among other social media that, COP (rtd) Kwasi Nkansah has become the poster boy of Mr. Kofi Anokye, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Koans Building Solutions is not the Krontihene of Akyem Apedwa neither is he a member of the council of elders of the Akyem Apedwa Stool and he should therefore be ignored.

Also Apedwahene, Osabarima Frimpong Manso averred that, the aforementioned press conference indicating to the media that, it was a public exhibition of deceit and manufactured historical facts and gross impersonation which borders on outright criminality.

In quick response to that allegations Mr. Kwasi Nkansah, Rtd COP has denied working with Koans Buildings Solutions and moreover he quitted the Akyem Apedwa Krontihene stool for the past 15yrs ago.

He said even though he is a former Krontihene of Akyem Apedwa but have never parade himself nor neither called himself publicly that, he is the Krontihene of Akyem Apedwa community.

According to him he wanted to focus much on his policing job and do not understand why Osabarima Frimpong Manso is associating him into such a land dispute and siad "i feel worried, because i worked hard for my good name over decades.

He continued that, for peace to prevail between the two of them, I’m given Osaberima 10 days ultimatum to come out publicly to redraw that ill statement and apologise to me else I would advice myself accordingly.

He further stated categorically that, he have no connection with the said Kofi Anokye, known as Koans hence the chief should apologise to him over his derogatory remarks against him.

Accoding to the COP RTD Kwasi Nkansah in a statement, he came into contact with Koans Buildings Solutions CEO when he and Apedwahene, Apedwa Hemaa, the current Apedwa Krontihene among other prominent persons from Apedwa went to his office at Panpanso on the Nsawam road to fight Koans against the said Akyem Abuakwa land in question.

Mr. Nkansah further mentioned that, apart from that particular day they all went to Mr. Kofi Anokye’s office to have discussion with him about the land, he has since not met or spoken with him personally or on phone nor to even exchange text messages.

He however see the press conference by Osabarima Frimpong Manso, as defamation of character to tarnished his personal integrity and have mentioned earlier, given Osabarima Frimpong Manso 10 day ultimatum to come out publicly to apologized to him (COPRTD, personally COP Rtd Kwasi Nksansah and retract his ill statement or is take legal action against Osaberima Frimpong Manso.
